Hmm, i think, i need to post the clear ''How to use hamachi to play Gruntz online'' I was play with my friend (Artur), and it works. (Some laggy, but this was because i wasn't close Torrent and Emule :q) 1. We need to have Gruntz 1.01 (1.1) Version. 2. We click Multiplayer> Then Join or Host 3a. If we are hosting, we choose 3rd option (TCP/IP), then make options for game. 3b. If we are joining, we choose 3rd option (TCP/IP), and paste our Host IP (It's easy to copy, by hamachi), then join seasion. 4. If all is ready, everyone chcek ready, and host start game. I posted it, becuase no one posted it in clear form I think it's can help. I'll try to connect something other from my country too. P.S On of Teo's Screenshot, i spoted he hasn't got ver. 1.01(1.1), Maybe this is stopping him? P.S 2 Sorry for my Gramatical mistakes :q

You two were in the same country; Me and Tomalla or SwordGrunt and I, are very far away from each other in different countriez; thats why it's so different.

WOW! I've been away from this forum for quite a while and pretty much thought having a Gruntz battle with anyone was a lost cause... But now I see you guyz are all fighting and argueing to get a battle to work with enough sheer determination to win an Olympic medal (Speaking of which, South Africa STILL hasn't got no stinkin Gold and countries amidst civil war and economic collapse - Georgia and Zimbabwe BOTH ALL have bloody shiny medals - NO FAIR!) But now to that, that is of impervious importance. I WANNA PLAY A BATTLE! I gots the whole Hamachi thing down, but now what? When will a server be created? When do I join? And will I be able to seeing as I'm sitting the furthest from pretty much everyone? Furthermore, I see we're all having problems trying to get this thing up and running. I surrender my resources... please let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Hamachi will be down for the next 30 minutes or so, so once it's back up we can keep trying. If you can, be on Hamachi at around 5PM GMT+12 - an hour from now. (BTW about the Olympics, us Kiwis couldn't be prouder - the Evers-Swindell twins got our first gold, and we got one other gold, a silver and two bronze on the same day. )

I've been wanting to battle someone for about 4 months, and me and SwordGrunt tried like everything possible, but still couldn't get it to work. The farthest we got to was to actually see the name of the Session; but no farther. P.S. May I remind you that Michael Phelps has won all 8 of his races in first for 8 Gold Medals?

Well, I got Gruntz working on my comp again. So, I think I'll try to join these "let's make multiplayer work" sessions. Plus, I'm curious to see how I'd measure up in a battle. When do we start? By the lookz of it, I need Hamachi?

It's much better with it, since it creates an online network between the computers. And thanks for reminding me, I have to install Hamachi here again. I should have some free time this weekend, so we all can keep trying... P.S. Me and SpaceGoo did get further... but not into the actual battle. The game showed up that "Please Wait..." screen and crashed. That means the session actually loaded.

Yeah, the session actually started, it just didn't get to the screen where you pick your color etc... Oh geez, the thought of Multiplayer... Me, SwordGrunt, BattlezM and someone all trying to crush each other! I wish we would get it already...

Hey all, I know it looks like a sad fact that Gruntz online might never become a reality. And I'm afraid what I have to give the cause here probably wont help much either. Still, I read this entire thread and saw we need v1.01. Well, I found a site where you can freely download an upgrade for your existing v1.0 (like the one RealArcade gave me). It's www.fileplanet.com/78106/0/0/0/1/section/Patches . let me know if it helped. Don't give up guyz! Gruntz wasn't programmed in a day.

Anyone still up for trying Multi-Player on Gruntz, using the new information we have been given (we need the latest patch).

If I had seen it then, I would have asked why the patch could not be downloaded (for free!) from this Forum!?! It has been available for download almost since day one of the existence of this site!!!

I'll check if Hamachi is installed in my main computer... if so, who owns the networkz? Tell me the name/password of it (by PM if you wish) so I can (re-)join.

In Gruntz we can play with GameRanger too Ps. Gruntzteo hamachi web is full, lets create new? Id: GruntzWeb1 Password: ilikegruntz Edit: I no longer have access to my hamachi account, nor to this network, so do not bother joining it.
