Since we discovered the naming convention behind SecretLevel Triggers some time ago, perhaps the download link for this .REZ file could be restored?

Since we discovered the naming convention behind SecretLevel Triggers some time ago, perhaps the download link for this .REZ file could be restored? When there are actually additional Secret Levelz to be played, and someone can provide an updated Gruntz.REZ file, a working link will be created. I do not have a program to update the Gruntz.REZ file myself, since WinRezLite (and every other program I have managed to locate) is flagged by my firewall virus checker as containing a high risk Trojan ... and has been quarantined. There are 31 possible Secret Levelz ... every 'Standard' Quest contains a SecretLevelTrigger. I would recommend that candidate Questz for SL status be kept small ... 32 tilez wide by 24 tilez tall being the ideal size IMHO.

We already have Tomalla's Gruntz REZ Patcher as the tool for editing REZ files... and we did for several years now. It's linked in the Utilities sticky thread in the Olio subforum.

I forgot all about it. Apparently I never attempted to actually use it, though. Life obviously got in the way, and the urgent took precedence over the necessary.
So now, what I need is something to patch into it, such as my alternate tilez replacing duplicated ones in the various graphics sets. And time to do it.

I had no idea of that and a quick search didn't give me any results. I thought we never found out how to link standard levelz to secret levelz and so this idea had died out.

Here. It happened 2 years ago and you've even commented in the exact thread.

Thanks! I had completely forgotten about that. I would be greatly interested in contributing to a Secret Levelz project if there are more people, a la Standard Levelz V2.

Same, just that we don't even have 8 active designers on this forum, and there are 24 free slots.

Same, just that we don't even have 8 active designers on this forum, and there are 24 free slots. Correction: 31 free slots ... the original 7 additional Secret Levelz that were never able to be added to the Gruntz.REZ file were released as ordinary Questz.

Oh, so they were completely dropped.
But as normal Questz, are these 7 maps perfectable without the use of cheats? If not, then their difficulty rating is very misleading.

Oh, so they were completely dropped. But as normal Questz, are these 7 maps perfectable without the use of cheats? If not, then their difficulty rating is very misleading. IIRC, only "Fun For Your Feet" of the seven doesn't allow a "PERFECT!" score. And that is only because only one of two Clubz could be acquired. Perhaps the other six did not provide a Warpstone Piece, so the same may be true for them ... but they may have been altered when the naming convention thwarted us.
