Sorry I am late with this ... the week-end activitiez took me away from early Friday morning until just about 25 minutez ago. Happy Birthday, Oldone!
P.S. At 62 you are eleigible to receive Social Security paymentz ... reduced ... but I calculated that I would have to live to be 70 yearz and four monthz old before the income waiting until my 'full coverage age' to start drawing would surpass the income taking it at 62. So I started drawing it back then. Over eight yearz after 60 yearz of age can be significant, if one's health failed! So I preferred to have the income while I was reasonably healthy, rather than take a chance on having a problem that "slowed me down" so that I could not enjoy life with that income.

I've thought about it. But the fact is I still have to work until our new partner is settled in and comfortable enough to find someone to replace me. I give it another year or so. Then you can bet I'll be out of there in a flash.
