Hi there! Mandew'z here. I'm here to ask you how you make the "Introduction" part of a CL... Do you make the CL "Gradual", like easy to hard? Or do you make the start Straigth into Action? I ask this because sometime I think the Intro is the most difficult part to create in a CL ... So if you have any tip on "How to make the intro of a CL look good", post them here plz!

For me, I usually start placing the king(z) and one GruntStartingPoint(CreationPoint). Then I put thingz around the fort(z) and create Enemiez and Gruntz. I think about the puzzlez, but don't put them imediatelly. And for me, the harder part to do in a Questz CL is "What the ? Switch does?" or sometimez "Where that kind of red wormhole(secret teleporter) will take the Grunt, and what Grunt will go there?".

I plan to write up my suggestionz for designing a Gruntz Quest Custom Level, to make it easier to determine where there is a problem.
For now, my number 1 suggestion is to make the ExitTrigger (King's Fortress) the very first object logic placed on the map. That makez it much easier for the person de-bugging the CL to start checking logicz, and go all the way through to the last object in the map (if necessary).
My number 2 suggestion is to not place any EyeCandy logicz on the map until the Designer has completed ALPHA testing to ensure that a "PERFECT!" score is possible. Then place EyeCandy logicz in such a way that at least part of every 'special' Tile may be seen in the version sent to the BETA tester. Only after both ALPHA and BETA testing has been done should the EyeCandy objectz be moved to more completely obscure the 'special' stuff in the version to be distributed to the "Gruntz Fanz".
