Have you heard the latest news? I have woken up and gone to a kitchen to eat a breakfast. Have turned on the radio ... and I was shocked. Something about 30 minutes ago a plane with a half of Polish politicians had crashed in Russia ... probably 132 people died, including the President and his wife. The most important politicians are dead ... maybe I'm not such a patriot, but still ... I can't believe it's happening ... it's happend over 2 hours ago from now! As a citizen of Poland, I feel obliged, somehow, to mourn those who died ... [/li][li]

I do not watch television, so would not have heard anything about it, except for your post. There probably won't even be anything about it in the newspaper, since the paper usually goes to press several hours before it hits the streets, or is delivered to homes. I understand your feelings about the tragedy, since I was at work at my post in the Air Force at the time President John F. Kennedy was assassinated November 22, 1963. It generates a feeling of unbelief ... it just couldn't happen.

Wow. Shocking indeed... not much else to say. It's really bad when that stuff happens.

What a terrible tragedy. I was shocked when I heard about it on the radio. My sympathy to you and your country.

Oh, yes, very bad... I think it wasn't just something unlucky... They were too important to Poland.
