I finally got around to updating this thread ... added in 2012 Releasez and made some minor changez, such as eliminating the reference to "Secret Levelz" (since it does not appear likely we will ever be able to update the REZ file and link from the 'Standard' Levelz to any 'Secret' onez )

It took so long to add in three new Custom Levelz into the Alphabetical Order index, that I spent some time breaking that huge component down into 28 manageable onez. If you click on the link now, you will see the Quest Custom Level that begin with a number, and the letterz A to Z (all of them linkz) and the word "Battlez" (which is a link). It probably takez two clickz on linkz to see what you are searching for, but you won't have to 'digest' over half a megabyte all at once. Each of the Quest componentz have full linkz to the other twenty six Quest index pagez. No matter where you go, you are only one click away from the next page you want to view. For example, this will take you directly to Quest Custom Levelz starting with the letter " C". Try it out!

Now that I can once again do maintenance on the web host, I am beginning to update the indicez with the new submissionz. I added 2013 to the list, but have not updated it with the Battlez CL that was submitted and distributed. With about a dozen entriez to be updated, it will be a couple hourz before I have everything up-to-date and uploaded to the web host. Patience(?).

I believe all of the broken linkz within the indicez have been fixed. All that remainz is to find and fix the broken linkz in the Custom Level announcement/discussion threadz. I am resuming that project with "The Miniature Masterz". I have noticed that some of the first six area announcementz now have broken tablez, with UBBC tagz appearing because the Version 5 processor is translating some of the UBBC tagz into pseudo HTML tagz, and doesn't understand tagz without span stringz, and the HTML tag resetz previous tagz, resulting in unpaired end tagz. And in some wayz, the parser is more stringent than the Version 4 parser, and strenuously objectz to {/tr} immediately followed by {/tr} (as it should!), causing everything following the duplication to be invalid.
I have corrected those errorz as I have detected them, but will have to make another pass through the announcementz to replace all of the affected UBBC tagz with their HTML counterpartz. As part of that process, I am adding the translated Announcement.txt file to each CL's folder ... so they will be available in the Gruntz Extraz DVD, when the Version 5 update project is completed.

As I am attempting to catch up on maintenance of the indices, I am removing the total Coin counts, and average Coin count per Quest from everything I have to update because of new (or simply missed older) Custom Level releases ... except for the Designer indices.
Also, I am adding links at the bottom of each graphic set index to each of the other 7 graphics sets, with both text and Rock images.
I am approximately 3/4ths of the way through the Battlez index, checking against the Custom Levels currently listed under Battles; Battles that are still listed in the BETA Board will not be listed in the Battles index until releaased.
P.S. I am 'juggling' the indices maintenance with play-tests of recently submitted Custom Levels (Questz). When I get tired of one 'ball', I move to the next.
Edit: The opening post in this thread (the 'Master' index) has been updated.

I am still somewhat limited in what I can do with this new(er) laptop computer (now) running Windows 10. But I will create an empty index entry for 2016, awaiting new submissions and/or successful BETA tests of previously submitted puzzles. I can definitely say that 10 is a vast improvement over 8(.1)! (But not as user-friendly as Vista.) Perhaps I will be able to find a means of causing 10 to look like Vista (or even an older OS) with which I can be a lot more comfortable.

I have updated the indices for graphics areas 1 through 6, correcting the links to the Version 2 puzzlez, anticipating verification of more of Wedrikul's "Mini Campaign" puzzlez.
Since I discovered that my favorite browser will not properly handle link references to internal places within a member, I have replaced the Author links with links to the individual member's index. With no method to test other browsers, I assume that such links are simply not worth having. When I complete this project, I will remove the 'Designer List' members for Questz, Collaborationz and Battlez.
Try out Rocky Roadz (which I believe is completely up-to-date).

What to do you mean by deleting the Designer List members? If it means deleting lists such as these, then it would be a major bummer to not have those anymore.

If you look at one of the Medium difficulty indices, and click on an Author's name (link), you will see an alphabetical list of Designers, with counts by difficulty (and Battlez, if any). Then back up, and click on the rock associated with it (the graphics set) and click on the same Author's name there.
See the difference? I am "eliminating the middleman" ... and the maintenance chore I created for myself when I created the alphabetical Designer List, the Collaborator List, and the Battlez List. When I finish the project, clicking on an Author 'handle' anywhere will take you to that individual's Custom Level listing, as in your 'these' above.

Only alphabetical 'X' 'Y' and 'Z' remain to be updated; then adding in the 22 new puzzlez where they belong.

By Release Date, Graphics Area, Difficulty and Designer indices have now been updated. Ready for some diligent Gruntzer to discover and errors that may still exist in the links.
The overall alphabetical index (up to 27 elements) still need to be updated with the 21 (or 22) Custom Levelz released in October, 2017. That is merely a matter of adding the new CLz into the proper places, since the indices have been corrected re: the December, 2015 additions, where ProBoards software (updated shortly before) renumbered threads when they were moved (promoted) ... previously, the BETA Board thread numbers were retained, when promotions occurred.

The Battlez index has been brought up-to-date, and (as an experiment) I added "Casino Arena" to the Alphabetical 'C' index, with the name in red and the word BATTLE in the walk-through column.
If this sort of change is of any interest to those of you who are playing (or simulating) multi-player maps, in addition to the Battlez (only) index, I will do the same for the other 47 Custom Battlez.

My experience with Gruntz on a 64-bit computer running Windows 10 (Windows Vista compatibility) with dgVoodoo has been such that another type of index would be useful: by map size.
I can successfully play maps 32 tilez wide by 24 tilez tall. Smaller maps cause a default back to 20 tilez wide by 15 tilez tall (which is the limitation any map opens with in my setup), so those are too small to enjoy playing.
Very large maps frequently have the drawback of opening outside the 20X15 area (referenced from the upper left-hand corner), and those I find difficult to even start the puzzle. Most of the time doing a SAVE will remove the limitation, and I can reach the status column and begin play. But if something (such as a Rock beginning to roll) sets a time limit on performing an initial task, that puzzle is impossible (for me) to play.
I do not have free time to begin such a project until Monday (it being Saturday where I live), so would like to know if anyone feels such an index would be desirable. And if so, if anyone is willing to help in the project by compiling a list of puzzle names that are:
- Smaller than 32X24
- Exactly 32X24
- larger than 32X24
tiles in size.
There are over 600 Custom Level Questz to view, and I believe I would attack it by graphics area, so there would be 24 lists (3 per area) that would then be combined into 3 lists, arranged alphabetically. So if anyone feels it would be worthwhile, and wants to help, please respond in this thread saying which graphics area you are willing to take on. The Announcements will be a big help, since the map size is one of the things itemized in the post. It should not be necessary to actually view (or attempt to play) the CL to provide its name in the proper list.

I think one problem with asking this question here is that this thread is locked, meaning that anyone without administrative privileges cannot respond to it. I wouldn't mind having such a list, assuming that it wouldn't be too much trouble to add.

Two more indices added.
One that cautions you that the map is small enough in at least one dimension to default the Gruntz screen resolution to 640 pixels (20 tiles) wide by 480 pixels (15 tiles) tall.
One that (almost) exactly fills a hi-res screen 1024X768 pixels. A few entries are actually slightly larger, but the extra space does not contain anything that really matters.
Any puzzle in the two indices should be playable on a 64-bit Windows 10 computer system ... in Windows Vista compatibility mode, and with dgVoodoo installed. (They work for me, on the described setup.)
