I was thinking about how I might create my next Custom level, and the method strikez me as worth passing on as suggestionz to other Designerz. I have created game-time mapz of most of the Gruntz puzzlez ... 'Standard' and 'Custom'. There are mini-puzzlez to be found in most of them that are particularly good. I thought of building a map by using my Paint.net program to clip out a mini-puzzle here, a mini-puzzle there and 'paste' them together into a proposed map. When I had a complete map (filling in spacez, as necessary), I would open the Gruntz Level Editor and start loading in Tilez to match the JPEG I have pieced together. Then add in the appropriate logicz .... and ... a new Custom Level incorporating the best of the (known) Gruntz world for a given graphicz set. The 'combined' Custom Levelz would be named: - Rocky Roadz
- Gruntziclez
- Trouble in the Tropicz
- High on Sweetz
- High Rollerz
- Honey, I Shrunk the Gruntz
- The Miniature Masterz
- Gruntz in Space
original, huh? I would try to make them all the same size ... 64 tilez wide by 48 tilez high ('standard' 4X3 ratio) that is large enough to contain several of the best mini-puzzle, but not so large as to be unwieldy. Thoughtz, anyone?

I'm not sure what do you exactly mean. Are you talking about taking parts of uncompleted levels of various gruntzerz to merge them together into a big, complete level? Or just taking anything considered "good" from already released levelz to create a new one?

Or just taking anything considered "good" from already released levelz to create a new one? Oh, the completed and working mini-puzzlez that have a challenge to them! These would be completely solvable on their own, but meant to be "show off" puzzlez as examplez of each graphicz set.
