It's a nice offer thanks but t I'm releasing Dizgruntled open source, so I don't think the terms are really suitable for the project.
If you're happy to share some of the information about the format of the REZ file itself that would be great, but any implementation I write will be released open source for the benefit of the community.

Hugh, I had no idea using original REZ file was an option. In this case I can give you documentation and any additional help on decoding these on the fly. I've successfully decoded all of these formats so it wouldn't be much of a problem. If that's OK with you, kijanek6. Seems like you want to acquire a monopoly on the Gruntzy Tech

Nah, as I've said before - I have no interest in Gruntz. However I want to hold on monopoly on Claw tech

Tomalla, that's excellent news! Not really sure why I thought of this before... I guess we'd always had to hack around!
I guess what I need to do is develop a Java API that can:
* Navigate the REZ folder structure / establish names of files etc. * Load pixel and offset data from PID * Load all useful data from ANI files * Extract sound information from the sound files

Hmm, perhaps I should "infect" my uni friends as well... ...but as it always happens to be at computer science: They either use Mac or Linux.

Well to put an end to this chit-chat ( ): I've had a look at Dizgruntled and liked it very much! The white switch is a very good idea.
