I don't understand what is "black area of map" I think, you can guess it. Just imagine a fragment of a map that you can't see at all (for example, opponent'z territory). If a White Switch iz pressed, then it magically arrivez, and you see that Bricklayer getting a Bomb Brick and building it for now... In the terrain you just revealed, of course. Definition can't be too difficult to understand, is it?

Hi there! I'm a developer and now I have a time for this project. And I love Gruntz! But I can't!
Currently I can't build it because many missed classes. Anyone can help me with it? If yes plz email me to i at fizzer dot.ru. Thx.

Hi all! It's great to see everyone still talking about Dizgruntled I was contacted by Kevin Lambert, the original Lead Programmer and Lead Designer for the game and he's really interested to see this project be realised as well! I really want to spend time on this at the moment but I'm heads down in my own game Code Kingdoms at the moment, which is going well but I'm having to work incredibly hard to meet our deadlines and satisfy our investors. When things calm down again I'll absolutely start working on it again! I'd love to work with anyone who wants to carry on the project while I'm busy. fzzr I'll have a look at your problem asap. Once you get to grips with the project maybe we should set up a Working Group thread on the google group to work out what needs doing next? My focus at the time was to build functionality to make each level work like it did in the original in turn

That too. My first question is what goal you have at the moment: Will it become a clone? Or will it become a sequel? Or both at one time?

Hey, great to hear from you again, Hugheth! I'm glad that you didn't abandon the project entirely. The fact that Kevin Lambert himself spoke to you is amazing! I'm curious, do you estimate how long it will still take for you to finish working on Code Kingdoms? 3 months, 6, more? According to the dates in this thread, you started working on it over a year ago...

I get noticed some bugs in the application
1 : Gruntz its still taking damage from spikez even he has gravity bootz
2 : Frames are skipping too fast
3 : Warpstone grunt is running with same speed.

@zu, Code Kingdoms is a startup so we're going to be building for quite a long time, perhaps 2-5 more years. That doesn't mean I won't be working on Dizgruntled then, it just makes it a lot more difficult.
@perfect Grunt, my idea was to start off with a clone and then allow the community to make mods - new items / levelz / mode
Those could then be compiled in some form of sequel if we had enough contributions.
@zazor5000, thanks for the bug list! The idea is to fix one item at a time - currently I think the priority should be toyz next because they all act in a very similar way

Hi open sourcers, I've updated the wiki description to include instructions to download the HOPE engine which the game runs off: bitbucket.org/pointcliki/dizgruntled/wiki/HomeI've also fixed up a lot of the problems with the source - the game installs and runs pretty quickly now!

For those who aren't on Discord, Dizgruntled is very much alive and kicking! It is now built in TypeScript and released purely online, no download required. It supports most browsers on desktop & tablet too. Please do have a play through and feel free to post any issues you have on the github repo dizgruntled.comgithub.com/Dizgruntled/Dizgruntled

What is this thing? 🎉 There is no alt text associated with it, and I consider it a useless post, not worthy of establishing an interest in Gruntz, thus not assurance of never-ending membership.

That emoji is a (as I looked it up in Wikipedia) so-called "Party Popper": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_popperSince it being an emoji and thus a character and not an image, no alt text is supported by HTML. Usually, the 🎉 emoji is used in online discussions to show delight. I am very excited about the Dizgruntled news and am going to check it out as soon as I can!

Thank you for the explanation! This old fogey is not up on most of the online shortcuts that have arisen, such as "meh".

So here's a screenshot of the current map editor - placing objects is much simpler than in WapWorld and you can have different groups of them / link up triggers without too much pain
Ten years later, the image is no longer available. n Perhaps someone 'way back when captured that image and can re-upload it? Then I can give it a home on the Forum's web host.
