Making new levelz is something that would get people back on the forum to ask about it if they need help, or just comment on their experience on it. Remember the levelz are still sent to people via e-mail so they would see it. And I'm sure quite a few would give it a play, myself included.
There's no need to announce your retirement or return, the important thing is, if you have an idea and can get a level done, go for it, and it'll probably be played. The thing about "not making something new" is that the game doesn't allow for customizing (replacing graphicz, soundz, code... except in hacky wayz such as distributing a new gruntz.rez which still has its limitz) and so new thingz are naturally scarce after several hundred levelz. But you can still make fun thingz even if similar onez have been done before, keep that in mind.

To be honest, I don't think I have it in me anymore.
In the past I tried making my levels somewhat challenging, but no matter what I did the levels I made were still easy to figure out.
There is a level I have in mind, and it'll probably be my easiest level yet. But to be honest, I don't wanna make a bad level. So yeah.
I know I don't have to announce it when I decide to come back, but I'll do it regardless as the people of this community deserve to know.

I'm so sorry I haven't made a new Gruntz let's play in a long time.
I'm still sticking to not making any new levels, however there are plenty of levels I can play myself.
I don't know when I'll make my next Gruntz let's play, but I need to take good care of this game since I don't want it to die. Me and the small amount of remaining members of this message board are the only hope to keep this awesome game alive. I have to do my part I feel like I owe it.

This place sure has become an abandoned warehouse, hasn't it?
Ah well, at least I still play, even though it's not on a regular basis like I used to.

Everything has a lifespan. Although I missed the Gruntz heyday, I'm glad that I got to experience this game's potential at least. I still have plans for Gruntz, but right now my study is more important.

This place sure has become an abandoned warehouse, hasn't it? Ah well, at least I still play, even though it's not on a regular basis like I used to. There USED TO BE several Gruntzerz creating Custom Levels ... Gaby being the most prolific. I login here several times a day, even though I have other interests, in case someone has created an announcement of a new CL. Or when someone new joins, and has questions about "how to", as the one regarding Switch logic.
