Hey all! Greetings from Australia! I've played Gruntz ever since my older brother introduced it to me after finding the CD case for it filed away somewhere over a decade ago. I had so much fun with it; completing puzzles, finding the secrets and cheat codes, and best of all, multiplayer Battlez and the Scenario editor. I enjoyed it so much I looked online to find Gruntz 2, with no avail. In fact, the first time I ever saw this site was a page on here that stated why there wouldn't be a Gruntz 2. I'm finally making an account because it was a great childhood game (except now the straw gruntz dialogue is a bit more... erm... ambiguous than I remember ) and I don't want to forget such a classic I enjoyed as a kid! It's almost hard to believe that this website has been around for almost if not more than twelve years... that even predates YouTube! Unfortunately, all the custom levels I was proud of ever making got lost when my original computer died (I only really remember two from memory: One was a battlez level based on a giant ship, the other one was I think a questz type level based around a prison) However, I'm hoping that there will be lots of really interesting level designs here that I can try!

Hey all! Greetings from Australia! Our original Custom Level distributor is from Australia, but, alas, no longer involved in Gruntz.
Unfortunately we do not have access to the source for the many programs used to create the game, so even the "young bucks" cannot build upon the original design. (And, at my age, building something like a "Gruntz 2" is no longer 'in the cards'.)
This discussion Forum was started when Monolith Productions, Inc. gave notice that they were dropping support for their own web site in support of Gruntz.
Because Monolith made the Gruntz Level Editor available for a nice price (free!), there are close to 600 additionals puzzles available from this web site, since over 60 interested parties have created Custom Levelz. There is a link to download the puzzlez in every announcement thread ... also for the nice price (free!).
Welcome to GooRoo's Gruntz Forum!
