I found a surprisingly straightforward method to make "View the Map" images of Battlez in-game, with no GLE printing involved. Needless to say that it also works for Questz.
First, start the Battle that you want to make an image for. Turn on all 3 AIs, so that their GruntCreationPadz are visible. Once the map loads, don't press any buttons! No Gruntz will spawn while the message "Press any button to continue" is blinking. You can take screenshots while this message is not visible, which happens in regular intervals. My recommended option is to use game's built-in screenshot system by pressing F12. Note that using this key will NOT cause the Battle to begin, so you can do this as many times as you want in one go, take screenshots of all places of the map you will later need to glue together to make one "View the Map" image.
Each time you press F12, a Gruntz####.BMP file is saved in your ...\Gruntz\GAME directory, where #### is the number of the screenshot taken.

Every one was the exact same size ... the exact same Battle image. So there is now a "View the map" for Mid-Evil Madness.
Thank You for the reminder of how the Gruntz F12 function really works ... with the emphasis on 'works'! Now I can resume my effort to provide map images for Custom Levelz (Questz and Battlez) that are missing them ... when I finish the index updating process (until the next submission(s) of Gruntz data).
