On the XP computer I attempted to set the 1024X768 screen resolution patch. When I did so, now Gruntz fails to start with some sort of exception. So I want to undo the patch to return to the (at least working!) 640X480 display.
I tried searching for anything changed today, but nothing mentioning anything like registry turned up. I am tempted to re-register tomorrow and then search for anything changed ... with few (if any) other changes on the computer.

If you opened the resolution patch file in a text editor, you would be able to extract the path where the registry entry is being modified: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Monolith Productions\Gruntz\1.0 I have a 64-bit Operating System, so my path to the game is a bit different and I had to find the location of Gruntz manually. I don't know about your computer but you can check if there are any other entries in the aforementioned location, if that's the case your game stores them in a different place.

I submitted the registry change again for 1024X768 screen resolution, and Gruntz is once again working on the XP computer. (1024X768 screen resolution is NOT working, though.)
I am currently using the XP to create a "View the map!" for Gaby's "Gruntz Fanz (as a test), and tried to login here from the XP. No dice! I do not know the password I have across all Proboards, so cannot login from the other computer. Worse, I cannot change the password to something I know and have recorded, because I do not have the CURRENT password. And all of the processes I have tried do not allow me to set a new password without knowing the current one. Catch 22!
