I discovered I had a Rocky Roadz WWD named 'Rubbish' with an 'author' of "Monolith Productions, Inc.". Of course, I had to open it with the GLE to see what it was. There were a couple GlobalAmbientSound logicz, a GruntStartingPoint, some Goo and Water EyeCandy anis, one Switch and three CheckPoint Pyramidz ... that's all.
The terrain was just lots of different levels ... with no stairways ... just ordinary Ground Tilez. So I set out to embellish it a bit. Changed stable water Bridge Tilez to switchable ones, and added two Switchez to control them. Added in small and large Rockz, Holez and Moundz, enemy Gruntz, Teleporterz, a Question Mark Switch (with associated TileSecretTriggerz) and a SecretTeleporterTrigger ... and an ExitTrigger. That little project gave me a lot of respect for the advice to use a template. I had to use my printed GLEM to fill out (correctly) such things as InGameIconz, CoveredPowerupz. The puzzle was solvable in less than 5 minutez, even with filling in every Hole, breaking every Rock (some several timez in the same place) ... one of them did not work as I had planned it so a small tweak would be required. I am considering extending the TileSecretTriggerz to generate a bit of time pressure, such as picking up an additional Coin (only 1 in the map as I type this) along the way.
It was fun taking on this little Gruntzy time-waster after all the GLEM updating, Index corrections, distributing CLz that were missed due to computer woes, and the like. Gives me an urge to take on a serious CL effort again.
