Ah yes! The $#^$^%@^$ two Gruntz Silver Pyramidz maze! I understand your frustration, as I experienced it several times, myself! To save you even more frustration, if you want to be able to achieve a "PERFECT!" score, you have to re-toggle that Yellow Toggle Switch at the entrance to the maze after the GolfBall passes over the two-way Arrow it controls. (And still move both of your Gruntz through that Silver Pyramidz maze!) It will probably be easier for you if you assign numbers to your Gruntz, so that you can use your left hand to select a Gruntz, and the mouse (in your right hand, presumably not everyone is right-handed, though) to point where you want each Grunt to go. Select Grunt 1 and point to the Pyramid next to the one that briefly goes up, then drops down again. Select Grunt 2 and do the same on the lower protion of the maze. As soon as that single Pyramid for Grunt 2 goes down, move him onto it, then select Grunt 1 and move him onto his Pyramid. All Pyramidz come up, except for the two your Gruntz are safely standing on; then all drop again, and different Pyramidz pop up and drop down again. Grunt 1 is still selected, so move him first to his safe Pyramid location,, then select Grunt 2 and do the same. When the Pyramidz drop again, move Grunt 2 (the selected one) to his Purple Switch, select Grunt 1 and move him to his Purple Switch. If you made it before the GolfBall hits the Purple Pyramid, SAVE! Start a new SAVE area, for the crossing of the Bridgez over the Quicksand Pit (and beyond). For the moment, you do not have a problem with time, so let your adrenaline level drop down toward normal levels, and pay attention to the pattern of the Bridge Stepping Stonez. Once you manage to get both Gruntz across their Bridgez, SAVE again. Take a deep breath, because the going will get hectic again. Once you move the Sword Grunt past the Red Pyramidz barrier, you don't have to worry about him for a while ... so don't! Concentrate on moving the Grunt who acquirez the Gauntletz. That much should get you to a point where you can figure things out on your own, through trial and error (if you're like me, mostly error). You always have the SAVE with both Gruntz on the safe side of the Quicksand Pit, so you can return there each time the Rolling GolfBall beats you to some Pyramid before you can activate the Switch that lowers it. With a little practice, you will be able to keep that Rolling GolfBall going to the very end, doing the job you need it to do, in order to be able to complete the Levle.

okay, this might be where the game ends for me. the pyramids seem impossible how do I assign numbers for them? Don't give up, Bonnie! If you want to assign each of your gruntz a number, simply select one grunt, then press Ctrl and whatever number you want to assign your grunt. For example, if you want to assign a grunt to the number 1, then after selecting your grunt, press Ctrl and 1 at the same time. Now, whenever you press the 1 key, that grunt will be automatically selected (as long as he is still alive!). Pressing the 1 key twice in succession will center the "camera" on that grunt. Really, the key to solving these pyramidz is watch and learn which pyramidz will be "safe pyramidz for your gruntz to stand on, while the other pyramidz come up.

Okay, I passed the pyramids no problem, but for some reason I can't get across the lower bridge to the check point. Is there a trick to the timing or is my mouse hand just spazzy?

Many of the timing sub-puzzlez in Gruntz (Standard and Custom Levelz) require anticipation in order to solve them. Gruntz move at (I believe) five different speedz: - SuicideBomber (on the run)
- SpyGlass
- "normal" Gruntz
- Springz
- Warpstone
from fastest to slowest (Springz and Warpstone may be the same speed). Determine the sequence of the Bridge Stepping Stonez, and anticipate when the one you want to step on will raise up, and time your movement so that the Tile is there when you get there.

do not forget to save before you try to Determine the sequence of the Bridge Stepping Stonez... that way the 'trial and error' will be less frustrated...

Thanks guys. It only took about 30 min. but I finally made it. Of course, I messed up later and saved at the wrong time. Had to start over again, & wouldn't you know it only took 1 try on that level. That's why I love this game!

I've been able to reach the two ponds after the timed pyramids in this stage, but I got the same problem ; bottom pond is not crossable! It's like there's a bug, impossible to cross it because center "rock" never get up in the same time then others to let my Grunt pass the centered point. Is it a bug, there's a trick or I'm just dumb?!? Please help me, I'm about stop playing and throw the comp by the window arg I tried everything but nothing works, and every Grunt site I'm visiting never talk about a problem in this part. Please, please help me! Thanks in advance!
