Something seems amiss here. What does everyone else think? It does seem that way but, I think I found the word and the definition. We are not accustomed to using the word in that way. onelook.com has a reverse look-up dictionary. Pretty neat tool. Hoping I am right, I will continue with: _ _ _ _ - : any celestial body visible from the earth at night GooRoo's Edit: Well done, Teri!

Teri, I don't think there is a "turn" sequence in this game as long as 2 people enter words before you do.. so that's no problem in that case. Maybe we need to end this one.. it seems to be getting screwed up. The way I'm reading the words, the are: Gamer - scorn Idle Al - score Teri - store GooRoo - scare Edit: (no, st are) Teri - scar Edit: (and this is, star -) So it appears that Teri and GooRoo both changed their words from my word. Teri, your turn is fine as far as the rules go. We can't delete your word and let GooRoo's count because then he would be changing the word before and after mine.. not allowed according to the rules. Edit: There is still room to play, since there was no problem of two replies to the same post, and no playing out of turn. I admit that my definition was rather obscure ... because I was not aware of it until I went to the dictionary for the definition of 'stare' (as in look hard and long at something), and found the obscure usage. What to.. what to do? Edit: Play on, play on! Edit: Sheesh!

With the definition GooRoo chose for stare I can understand the confusion. I did remember him wanting to add more of a challenge, so I searched on. The edit's within a reply sometimes tend to confuse me. The red edits corrected IdleAl's mistaken line of thought? The yellow edit came from IdleAl? Sheesh again Idle! According to rule #4 "The word must be changed at least twice before you can play again", I did go too soon. We can continue with this game, start over or stop. What say us?

There is only that last word to back up from, if we wanted to go strictly by the rules ... not much lost. Of course, we have the effect of a recap, with the last few posts in this thread, so perhaps we should complete that recap, picking up from the last one. Anyone who wishes to do so ... feel free to post said recap.

Yes, you are right, GooRoo. This makes 85 words. Can we reach 100?
