I try to lure the 'kamikaza bomb' to blow up the bomb brick - as it's written in the walktrough... but the 'kamikaza bomb' runs diagonly down and blows himself and not the brick... may be I didnot understand the 'how todo it' ... so ... help me please...  |

The secret is in the direction you approach the enemy SuicideBomber Grunt. What makez it difficult is that EyeCandy obscurez a path that the SB Grunt may take ... move your Grunt around from a safe distance, and approach from different pointz. When the SB Grunt takez off ... duck!

There is a Pyramid behind a tree that must be lowered, so that the SuicideBomber'z 'run' will blow up the Death Brick, allowing your Gauntletz Grunt to break the Rock on the other side of said DB.

Send one of the grunts across the + to the other purple switch and QUICKLY move the other grunt out of the way. You might want to use the CTRL-# method of switching between grunts.

OK... it worked...  ...now I've got a problem on the right wing - bootz is on the GTS gauntletz is still on the lowerd OP... in the walkthrough it's written "Now send the gauntletz grunt over to the three rocks at the bottom right (the ones that didn't get blown up). Have your bootz grunt go through the teleporter, then follow the arrows right above you until you get to the secret switch"... if bootz is going through the teleporter he lands on the bridge... ...  |

Sorry to kind of "highjack" this thread but I am re-playing this custom level after a long time and cannot find an anwser to my problem, even after doing a search for it.
I have been trying foe a couple of days to get to the warp letter by digging the hole next to it before the lave gets me......No luck! Is there a "trick" to dig the hole before the lave gets me? Thanks for any help

You are not "hi-jacking" at all! Discussion about the Custom Level (CL) is what each thread is for on this Forum. BTW, welcome back! You may change your display name to whatever you'd like to have appear on your postz ... it may be different from your login name. Okay, back to your question. There is no 'trick' to filling in the Hole  , other than timing. You must start digging at the earliest opportunity (anticipate when it is safe to stand where you need to be to dig) and cross over the Mound  as soon as your "shovel work" is done. I believe that I used the Lava Geyser  at the west end of the four, but it may be possible to get across in other placez. P.S. If you have 'bookmarked' this thread, you received an e-mail telling you that a response has been made to the thread you are interested in. Once you have successfully completed this CL, you may then remove the bookmark, so that whenever someone else postz here, you will no longer receive e-mailz about it. (But maybe you will be the person able to answer that someone's question, and become an instant 'hero'!) |

Hi!
I saw your message to me about changing the name. I am quite happy as I am now, you can delete the cgavin one with the NTL email. I have moved from the UK to Spain, hence the change. Still a fan of Gruntz, it was the first game I bought through the Internet and I love it, though some of the custom levels ARE HARD.
Thanks for the help with this level, will keep trying.

Thanks Gooroo, Finally. I got through! I am re-playing all the custom levels that have a W/T....I am an old lady that needs help all the time :-))) Awaiting for somehelp with Gaspi's Golf anf Madlady's Get those toyz out of my kitchen! I love Gruntz

Hmmm... what'z the secret that leadz to the A letter?
I think it'z to the left island (gauntletz and shovelz) but couldn't find such a switch/red warp. So, are there any hintz to it?

This is another Gruntz Custom Level without a Statz Page image ... and consequently no Statz info: we can post in the original thread.
Would someone please (re-)play this CL, (preferably make a (ordered) list of the actual Toolz/Toyz/Powerupz acquired) and do a screen grab of the Statz Page showing a "PERFECT!" result? Send the JPEG attachment in e-mail with any other data to GooRoo@marinersmvp.com.

... I'm 'totalost' here... 
...I replayd and after some attemptz I managed to put both gauntletz on the PMGS before the RR did and got the spongegun with the enemy bombz help, and the coinz with the friendly fire help ... the other two gruntz [bootz+gauntletz] are near their checkpoint...now... how do I get off the PMGS with shovelz and spongegun (in the walkthrough it's about gauntletz...
