I want to know too (have no idea of what's "spoof" :-[)
Just browse through the Monolith Gruntz Forum, and you will find several examplez of someone entering multiple "Source" namez, all with the same Universal ResourceLocator. I could demonstrate that to you by leaving a message on the Monolith Gruntz Forum with a ficticious name and e-mail address ... and all it would take is for someone to record the URL of that message with the URL of any message posted by GooRoo in the last six or seven yearz (but the last month should be sufficient) to see that I wrote the message. But I won't do that even to demonstrate how easy it is to do ... and how easy it is to detect the fraud.
I receive dozenz of 'phishing' e-mailz every week, purportedly from eBay.com, PayPal.com, Amazon.com, etc. I forward them, including the headerz which show the actual route, and the true originator'z URL to the security authoritiez of the respective organizationz. I estimate at least 90% of these phishing SPAMmerz are from outside the United States, poorly educated (at least in the English language) and frequently below average in intelligence. I do not know how they manage to display a ficticious "From:" location (but undoubtedly software assisted). Since I never open HTML only e-mailz, even though my firewall is kept up-to-date, I don't know what is in most of the spoofed 'security' messagez. I leave that to the proz at Amazon, eBay and PayPal, who are not only paid to investigate these thingz, but have the latest and best software toolz to do the job.
the e-mail provider changed their scriptz (program) a couple of monthz ago, and took away the capability of sending "blind carbon copies"
Uh oh, that's not good, don't like that. Can't spammers or other nasty critters get our addresses from your emails? That's what I was told by someone and then my provider explained that I should use "cc" to forward mail to other people (protect others' addresses). So why would a provider do that to you? Isn't that going to cause problems down the line?
Edit: eww, I didn't use the quote option the right way. Help.
I am stuck. My welder can't get through the arrows cause he needs a friend to stand on the switches, However, bootz gruntz is stuck over where the red switch is cause he can't get past the arrow at the entrance???
This is another Gruntz Custom Level without a Statz Page image ... and consequently no Statz info: we can post in the original thread.
Would someone please (re-)play this CL, (preferably make a (ordered) list of the actual Toolz/Toyz/Powerupz acquired) and do a screen grab of the Statz Page showing a "PERFECT!" result? Send the JPEG attachment in e-mail with any other data to GooRoo@marinersmvp.com.
The Statz Page image has existed for a long time ... the link left out a "/", which resulted in "page not found". The link has been corrected, and I have updated the Statz Info entriez with that display's result. I only have partial knowledge of what Toolz, Toyz and Secretz are used in this CL, though, so will likely (re-?)play it to gain that information.
