I saw some wonderful landscaping mazes in a magazine the other day, and I thought they would make some good levels. You may be seeing more in the future.

Maybe you forgot to step on something that you might not want to step on. RW triggers are funny that way. Also, it's very near the end.

Well this one I probably won't finish. Can't get thru the silver pyramids with these hands. It's an awfully long stretch and and can't scroll down fast enough halfway thru w/o getting squashed. And yes, I went to options and tried different speed settings. Maybe try this game later. It's a good game up to that point.

not under optionz... look into the custom folder, there should be a file 'Gruntz1024' (if not you have to download the patch) click on that file to set your resolution... IMHO it should help you to control thingz better...

Speaking of patches, iz anyone able to test this patch under Vista? I am looking to upgrade, and if Gruntz doesn't work, I'll have to dual boot.

I know just how you feel, Peekaboo. I have been in that same situation many times. However, I discovered a secret. If you select the grunt you want to move and then hit Ctrl C you will bring up the Grunt Cam (you'll see it in the bottom right corner). You'll find that as you move the grunt around, the camera will follow him and the map will scroll wherever he goes. Tada!! No more trying to run through the pyramidz and scroll at the same time. Give it a try. I think you'll like it.

and there is anoter trick for that ctrl+c ... click twice on the grunt you want to move and the map scrolls with him...

Oh Nice!! I didn't know that. Certainly will give it a try. Thanks Oldone and Gaby. I went on to a different game so my save slots are now being used for that one. But not a problem. I'll start over with Amazing Grunt when I finish this one. Excited about trying out this tip. WooHoo

Is it my imagination or does the grunt move slower when using Ctrl+C? Maybe it's just disorienting? Anyway, I'm still having problems with that pyramid. Can't move fast enough to keep from getting squashed. Is there a way to speed up the grunt while using ctrl+c?

No, but it does help if you watch the progress of the pyramidz a few timez before trying to get through them. They're not really fast but there are some devious twists in there. Sorry! GooRoo had a really nasty silver maze in his Turkey level. I practically had to memorize how the pyramidz worked before I could get through them. Keep trying, I know you can do it.

I just replayed this level, and with the grunt cam on it was a little disorienting to do the silver pyramidz. But it is certainly possible. I probably had to try 5 or 6 times before I got it, but as I went I got more used to the way the screen was moving. The grunt moves at the same speed as when the cam is off. My biggest problem was I kept clicking on the grunt instead of the tile I wanted him to go to. But it got easier as I played until finally I got through. Knowing the way ahead of time is essential.

Sorry, GooRoo, but I replayed that level a few months back, and I still thought that was one of the hardest silver pyramid mazes I have ever done. As a matter of fact, all your silver mazes are challenging. That's just a little tribute to your genius
