I agree Gaby. I played this level to the spike field and that's where I stopped. I couldn't get to the purple switches in time no matter how hard I tried. Much less to the second set of switches. Probably won't be finishing this one.

The spike maze is not too tough. My advise is to try ganging up on the boxerz while one grunt headz for the hold switch. Then, dig up the most southern hole, the otherz have nothing inside. Then move quickly down to the spikez. Move each grunt a little of the way through (one click per grunt), rather than trying to send them through one by one . send spyz across the bridge, he is the fastest . Move the rest of the gruntz over behind him. Then cross the next bridge, gang up on the enemy grunt, then head for the switchez. Phew! ! It may also help to save often.

At 64+ yearz old, my reflexez aren't what they once were, but I was able to complete this one to a " PERFECT!" score in less than 40 minutez (game timer time). And I stepped on very few Spikez along the way! (Of course, that was on my second ... or was it third(?) attempt to get to the Purple Multi- Grunt Switchez . On the first try, my Gruntz continually complained about their aching feet. ) Don't give up! You will find that you can actually plan your movez before you make them, and reduce your clickz to a minimum, speeding you up on your way through the Spikez .

Well, maybe someday when a good walk-through comes out, then I will finish it.

Speaking of walk-throughz I may get a chance this weekend to type them up. I'll get the onez for KitchenChaos and Spacecase done if I can by Sunday night. I will have to go back and take a look at my older levelz and get those walk-throughz done as well in case there are any gruntzers stuck on those. Be patient though. I just got a new puppy (grinz ear to ear) and you know puppiez are a lot like babiez a lot of work and time consuming at best lol. I am glad though that you all enjoyed both levelz. It was my pleasure to make them.

I got the PERFECT... ( 35:16)... all my gruntz are in the yellow... I did not fight the last trio of gooberz enemiez to the goo, I kind of ignored them... (saves time and power... and pain... ...) thank you Spongzgruntzer... bottom line it was a good level although I prefer less fighting and less spikez walking (but that is me... )

Here'z where I'm stuck. I made it thru the timed RR, spikez, and water. But where are the friendly gruntz that need to stand on all those PS'z? I could only resurrect two and need 6 more. Maybe I've missed something?
PS: Something else... The coin behind the spiked letterz toward the start of the game? Is there a WH somewhere instead of walking thru lava and spikes to pick the coin up?

take a 'time out' and see what those PMGSz do... in other wordz you don't need six ... try to go on the lava moundz when they are inert... there are no shortcutz to get that coin...

I reconstructed the original post (deleted in error ) by modifying the first reply that still existz. I know I made some sort of comment about the difficulty of the puzzle 'outside the box', but do not remember what I said. Checking my Statz Page image, I do not have " PERFECT!" captured on the screen ... does anyone know for sure that it is possible to achieve it? Or is there no WARP letter anywhere in the map?

Thanks Gaby, knew you had the answer. There is a warp letter. It's on one of the letters at start of game. (modified my answer in case designer gets miffed ) Btw Gaby, I tried the 'hurry thru the lava' bit but just not fast enuff. Argh!

Good interesting game, Spongzgruntzer. The purple switchez threw me for a bit but all else was great. The timed RR was daunting but made it thru by the skin on my teeth. The sharp corner near the yellow boxing gruntz was a stinker for me cuz they always knocked a gruntz into space. Yikes. There is an anomaly in this game. Just wondering... Why did you put two different ways in the game to reach the warp letter?

You have apparently discovered a slight bug in the level. Tile 115 is a safe tile, not a death tile (just a reminder ).

Lol. Safe tile, death tile, it got me where I wanted to go. You're talking to the uninitiated here. So what is the reminder? It was Greek to me.

Comes the dawn! My CRS disease ( Can't Remember Stuff ) struck again ... the reason I do not have " PERFECT!" on my Statz Page screen grab is because I made that image on my first completion of the puzzle. Then I added a Secret and a WARP letter to make it possible, but did not re-play it and re-do the image. I corresponded with SpongzGruntzer about it and received permission for what I did, and distributed the CL. The original post in this thread contained this same explanation about the modification.
