Do I need to kill the rock enemies? Will I need their goo? In Gaby's Custom Levelz, the general rule is: if the enemy Grunt is in your way, turn him into a Goo Puddle  ; if there is nowhere for you to go, and you have a long-range weapon (such as a Boomerang, SpongeGun or GunHat, etc.) ... especially if there are CheckPoint Pyramidz  you must pass ... turn all of the enemy Gruntz you can reach with your weapon into , or push them somewhere useful. Sometimez an enemy Grunt seemz to be out of reach of your Boomerang, but aiming on a diagonal nearby his location will be "close enough for government (er, Gruntzy) work", and the enemy Grunt loses health. That is frequently a bad thing, unintended by the Designer, especially if the intent was to have that Grunt whisked away via a Red Warp to some location useful to the solver ... that none of the solver's Gruntz are able to go.  |
