I'm making the puzzle in a larger area. My brain kicked in and said I needed more space for the exit trigger anyway or I wouldn't know if the puzzle worked. Duh! I still would like to know just how small we could go, not that it really matters.

I have a small arrow maze (10x10) in the midst of a larger area ready to go. Now my ignorance is showing again, could you please tell me how to send it via PM. I don't see anywhere to attach a file. Or do I need to do something else?

I have a small arrow maze (10x10) in the midst of a larger area ready to go. It would be preferable to create piecez of the "build a Level" in a 32X24 format. Just 'wall off' that part of the map that has nothing to do with your puzzle. The "Attachment" button doesn't show up untiul you actually are quoting, replying to, or creating a new message. As soon as you hit the reply button, you will have the attachment gadget to work with.

The PM area is the same as here. Sorry, but there is nothing about inserting a file, only inserting an image in the "Add Tags" area. Is that the same thing???

As soon as I clicked on the 'Reply' button, the window opened up with ... see the second green bar entry? Don't you get that?

No, I don't. Hmmm. I will have to check to see if there is some restriction about who may use the attachment feature. I didn't see any when I first set it up (with the 50KB limit), but I probably just wasn't paying enough attention.

me neither... and the 'quot' button disappeared too... Because I embedded the image in the post (instead of making it a link) the posting area was (is) stretched wider ... and you should see a (horizontal) scrollbar at the bottom of your screen ... to allow you to see the buttons.

I'm curious to know how you're coming on the "attachment" problem, GooRoo. Have you figured it out yet

I have never designed anything..so I doubt I could contribute anything before the end of the month, it being the 10th already....but I could help out in other ways maybe? Critique, suggestions, comments...general riff raff?

I'm curious to know how you're coming on the "attachment" problem, GooRoo. Have you figured it out yet Well, since Gamer successfully attached "Move off the Island.wwd", I am at a loss as to why everyone is not seeing what I ( and obviously, Gamer) see as an option. Of course, we are both 'staff', and perhapz there is an undocumented restriction on attachmentz only being available to staff memberz. I certainly have not made any such restriction, and do not even see a place where I could do so (or remove it, if it existed).

As I mentioned, there is nothing in the ADMIN functions about who can (or can't) make attachments. There is a YES/NO decision about whether attachments should be allowed, and there is a keyable dialog box for the maximum size of an individual attachment (which I set to 50KB, reduced from the 100KB default). But (unlike the Edit Category function) there is no entry for who is allowed to make attachments. So I have no clue as to why everyone is not seeing the attachment line.

Right now, there is not enough to make any sort of Custom Level beyond a 'tryout', so any submission would be accpeted ... but still might not be enough to make something I would be proud to distribute. I briefly tried a minor contribution today, but was not satisfied with the result. Maybe tomorrow, when I am more alert, and less busy, I may try again. But I am suffering from a lack of ideaz.

Today I put together what I feel would be a good 'base' for a Custom Level, using an idea sent to me by Gaby. I also have an Arrowz maze that can be added in, that I haven't used (from Oldone). The map I have is 100X68, and there is lotz of room for puzzlez (large and small) to be added, both in the large open space at bottom right, and within my graphicz contributionz. You may the base, to see where your contribution may fit in. Please coordinate with me the area that you plan to use, so that I may 'block out' that area and re-upload it for the next person. First come, first served on claiming space in the puzzle. So have at least one alternate space you would like to place a claim on, for your part of the CL.

This sounds like a pretty good idea. But how many designers would be willing to contribute? It wouldn' work very well with only 2 or 3. And in the interest of ease of merging, it might go better without z and z. Edit: Very good! Such a good suggestion that I felt the need to provide the additional emphasis of imagez rather than mere wordz! Yet, in the 'base' that I just posted, I have all sortz of Red Pyramidz. But the way I did it, they are not intended to until certain conditionz are met, and even then, the movement ceasez after a set amount of time. If otherz use that same concept, there should be no problem with having Red Pyramidz in sub-puzzlez.

Luckily, my puzzle iz done. I need to reserve at least a 27x20 piece of land. It features 3 disguised exitz, with 1 being right. Also, buried zap colas. Do you want me to e-mail it to you, because only staff can attach filez? Or make me staff!!! Just kidding..... So e-mail?
