I should be good for a medium section. (maybe I'll also take on adding a grunt)

I went to check on how "GooRoo's Gruntz - The Journey Home" was doing, and it is doing fine. Then I clicked on the link back to THIS forum. And most of the buttons and images here are displaying properly. (My avatar and signature line are NOT.) I suppose if I went to any Announcement thread, the images would all be the little box with what looks like a torn sheet of paper inside it. Strange! No background when I left this thread, and the background came back when I returned here. Perhaps the proboards (or SSL) software gradually 'learns' when an image is safe? "GooRoo's Gruntz - The Journey Home" is under the gooroosgruntz.info/ domain, which I believe is the one you own through godaddy correct?
This domain is separate to the domain the main Gruntz forum we're on here, is hosted under. Here we are hosted under gooroosgruntz.proboards.com/. Plainly and simply, stuff coming over from gooroosgruntz.info is considered third party. There is no 'learning' of a safe image. You are either loading content from a trusted https source, or you are not.
If you want to host images on the forum here from gooroosgruntz.info/, you would have to get a SSL certificate for that site. It should be much cheaper than 64$ to get a SSL certificate, but you would have to do looking further than proboards/godaddy, since their cited price of 64$ a year for one, is frankly a bit ludicrous.
The other solution I recommended to look into, the cdn service, would allow you to upload the images to a trusted https source, such as cloudflare, to be able to pull images from there rather than using storage on gooroosgruntz.proboards.com/
The quick solution for now would be just to upload some of the most basic images (such as the navigation buttons in the header, or icons for forum subsections) to the gooroosgruntz.proboards.com/. I would be surprised if this went over our storage limit here.
For other images such as statz pages, map overviews, and other large graphics images, the cdn service would be the most economical solution.

Before looking into cdns too much, is there a reason we're just not using gooroosgruntz.proboards.com for some of the more basic common images the forum has? gooroosgruntz.proboards.com is already under the SSL, so moving images over to here is potentially a guaranteed, free solution.

The problem is that the images on the forum are being hosted under gooroosgruntz.info, not gooroosgruntz.proboards.com . The latter is already under SSL coverage, per proboard's updates. If we just move all the images to be under this domain, the problem should be resolved. If this isn't possible, or doesn't work, I would highly recommend we use a cdn such cloudfront (https://aws.amazon.com/cloudfront/pricing/) to host our images. There is a very good chance it will be cheaper than having to buy a new SSL certificate just to secure image hosting.

I agree with the notion that there are different categories that represent difficulty in a level. There may be level with very hard timing sections, but very easy battlez/strategy parts. What difficulty does this level get? Is it as hard as the hardest component (the timing) or just an average (so this would be just hard since the other stuff is easy/very easy in comparison)
Personally though when I glance at the difficulty rating of a level, I use it as a gauge how long it might take to complete the level itself. I wouldn't expect an easy level to be anything over 30 minutes, whereas frustrating could be the better part of a day. This is all subjective of course.
However, I'd say that something that isn't as subject would be a difficulty system that ranks on expected experience for an 'easy' time. So I'd put something like iLoveGruntz's levels on 'super veteran', other normal level on somewhere between 'beginner' and 'veteran'. Basically veteran difficulty levels are levels designed with the expectation that you *really* know what you're doing, strategy stuff like 'friendly fire' for instance, would instantly make a level veteran difficulty status.
It's very different than what we currently use, but I think stuff like 'easy-medium-hard' are just always going to be subjective. I'd want the category system, but it almost feels like information overload. The 'beginner-normal-veteran' system is similar to what we have, but I think it describes a little more rigidly the intended difficulty of a level from a designer's view.

It's been awhile since I designed this one (and still don't have an accessible computer to play it).
But the idea with that section was to have a bricklayer to be able to force the gauntlet enemies to take some delayed pathing to get the olive through safely. They'll be the ones holding the switchez, rather than your gruntz. The roidz is there to make the bricklaying go faster.
This was also the puzzle I was unsure of proper completion for, and the one part of the level I was open to tweaking, but I didn't get a chance to do it.

I currently don't have access to Gruntz atm, so I don't really have an eta If I recall, there was something I wanted to edit with the OP/brickz section with the blue gauntlet breakers. I'll approve of any fitting edits to make that section doable, but I wouldn't be able to make them myself.

Iirc, Toobz should be able to encourage a bit of local 'assistance' to help free Shovelz from the purple pyramids. Afterwards, he should be assisting from the orange switch island as needed.
Perhapz Gauntletz still has uses for his current tool, without the springz he should be nimble enough to free that barehand.

Iirc, you should be able to entice one of those gauntlet gruntz to do something more useful than drive into a hole.

The gauntletz grunt might be too inattentive to really notice that shovel grunt. But the shovel certainly is more keen, though perhaps he's a bit nervous since your gruntz are still so close to him.

A secret almost a decade kept For a hint, the areas to observe are on the battlementz flanking the entrance of the playerz' fortz. For the NE fort, the plateau edge near the GPz is mismatched.

The dice can certainly destroyed with explosives, sounds like someone finished his role a bit early. For the GHS, there's only 1 path to there, and thus it is the path that needs to be taken.

Perhaps you should progress further in the level (or at least take a good look around) before you worry about those unreachable wingz.

I'm pretty sure I managed to play through this level about a year ago actually. It was a level I had received for testing even before then I think.
I forwarded you an e-mail from that time. Iirc, I was unable to complete the level to a perfect, but you should check if the .wwd that you have on the forum matches the level I had.

I'm reasonably sure that springz picks up the shovel. (since he's the only one that can reasonably get it) As for the SS, there's an answer right in the open.

I can currently confirm that a "PERFECT" is likely not possible at the moment, since one of the critical things I wanted to change was a GP that was left untriggered in one of the final mazes, which barred access to a coin. Other than that I wanted to move a RW to prevent potential timing errors with the RP/GP areas.
The level is entirely playable otherwise.

I don't think you actually need the toybox for that. I'm pretty sure I was able to kill the object guards with the good ol' hit and run tactics, though it was trickier due to having to time along with the lava geysers as well. It may have been why I had a left over yo-yo for the end. (which I only used to make timing a bit easier to blow up the swordz near the fort)

I am now looking at The Miniature Masterz Stage 1 "Come Back With A Friend" for the possibilities of doing a V2 version of it. Many of the mini-puzzles are much larger than they need to be for the solutions, so it should be possible to retain the original mini-puzzles and add a few more ... with the originals being made more difficult, using other Toolz and Toyz. Just substituting Gauntletz for Time Bombz should make the Question Mark Switch puzzle more of a challenge. I have the idea of re-arranging everything so that the movement is spiraling out, eliminating Wormholez. I am enlisting Paint.Net to allow me to do "cut and paste" type design of the map itself before I invoke the Gruntz Level Editor.
Don't know why you're looking at "Come back With a Friend" for a redesign, I've already taken work on that level. It's just about done too, just needs a proper Alpha test.

I wouldn't worry about this level atm. I'm still in the process of redesigning and rethinking some parts of it, though I've been busy lately. The only grunt intended to transfer over the griddle is the springz grunt.
