Considering that there's currently nobody in the Global Moderator role who actively moderates the forum and isn't an Admin already, I feel that this role could easily be re-purposed into such an "Old Staff" role after changing its permissions.
Also, I just found out that even as an Admin, I do not have the permission to moderate the groups?

I fixed the link.

Mokalus of Borg definitely could be fixed. That second one is confusing though. What would you suggest?

Welcome to our forum, and thank you kindly for providing this solution. I moved the thread to the FAQ section, as I feel it's rather important.

The tutorial explains how to set the 256 palette in either of the two programs. All the steps involved are laid out at the bottom of the document.

Both IrfanView and GIMP are capable of turning PNGs into PCX. The tutorial explains the process in detail for both programs.

Have you tried turning JPGs into PNGs and then using one of the programs specified in the tutorial to turn them into PCX?

I assume that you are talking about the Google Drive links. To download from them, you simply have to click the down arrow in the top-right corner.

As long as the EyeCandies and maybe also some GlobalAmbientSounds are added, yes, it's ready for release.

Managed to complete the puzzle. It's decent. The only thing to report is that it's weird how it starts you off already being within the range of an enemy boomerang grunt. Also, it seems like the level is based off of the first training level? The layout is more or less the same, at least.

Ok, so I looked it up on the webhost, and it turns out that the map, the WWD, etc. are placed in the level's folder under Hintz, but the WWD wasn't placed in Custom, hence the link wasn't working. I fixed it now.

The WWD still doesn't seem to be available. Perhaps you could temporarily add it as an attachment to your post?

It doesn't seem like any of the level's files are on the webhost as of yet. Are there problems with the upload? I could help with that if necessary.

Today I discovered a very useful feature that you might want to be aware of.
If you go to any board on the forum, and then click on the Actions dropdown menu on the top-right, you can set Notification Options. Using this, you can set to be notified via email either instantly, or daily, or weekly.
With how little activity the forum sees on average, you might want to take the time to set up those Notification Options on every board, so that you can know straight away if someone posts something there.

I did most of the suggested changes, as well as trying to decrease the number of excessive boards by shuffling things around in a way that should hopefully be more intuitive.
Some of the changes not listed:
- Removed the "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)" board due to having very few threads in it and potentially creating confusion, since there's another FAQ board on the forum. Its threads were moved to the "Miscellaneous Topics" board.
- Removed the "ProBoards News, Credits, Suggestions and tailoring" and "Level Beta Testing Messages" boards and moved all threads to the "Old Threadz" board due to being clearly obsolete.
- Removed the "What is Gruntz?" board and moved its threads to either Olio or the Gruntz FAQ boards.
- Removed the "Gruntz linkz" board and moved its threads to either Olio or the Gruntz FAQ boards.
- Removed the "Battlez Tips & Hintz" board and moved its threads to the Battlez Discussionz board.
- Moved the "Other Gamez" board to the Miscellaneous board.
- Moved the "HTML Walkthroughz" board to the GLEM section, as per swietymiki's suggestion in the chat.

So I'm creating this thread in hopes of it reaching GooRoo, since there seems to be issues with email communication.
Recently, GooRoo found that he's unable to log into his account, since the password he inputs no longer works, and he allegedly does not receive the recovery emails. He tried contacting ProBoards staff about this, but it turned out that they don't even have the power to view someone's password. So now he's stuck being unable to access the forum, and it would really help if everyone tried their best to offer some solution for GooRoo to use.
So far, the things we tried to suggest him are as follows:
1) Check his Gmail account's Spam folder for whether the recovery emails from ProBoards are being sent there.
2) Check his browser's advanced settings for whether the password is stored there.
3) Check if the email he inputs is actually correct.
4) If all else fails, installing a remote desktop application, such as TeamSpeak (www.teamspeak.com/en/), so that one of us could directly access his desktop and see if there's anything we could do there.
If you have any other things to suggest for him, then please post here.

Just a heads-up for anyone who might be having the same problem: recently I've been able to solve the problem of crashes in Tomalla's level by going into World > Planes > Back and changing that plane to consist of 32 by 32 tiles instead of 8 by 8. Quite possibly the game simply didn't like the idea of the Back plane having less tiles than the default resolution (min. 20 tiles wide and 15 tiles tall).

I do like the bigger maps being used as backgrounds, but what bothers me is the very blurry "Join Us" image being stretched when a page does not have a unique background specified. I prepared a bigger version that should hopefully work better: puu.sh/BfUwO/0c8432bbdc.jpg
