guys STAR WARS, the official map by Monolith, not Abdalla's Wars... On Star Wars map there are 2 conversions in the plain sight... I believe all this confusion arose from abdalla's great idea to name his level as Star Wars, even though there was Star Wars map already... Funny thing, this convo ahs nothing to do with this map...

guys I said that in another thread, long time ago it was my stats and it is possible to conquer all the forts with just one grunt without any hacks... just use conversion! Converted gruntz does NOT count towards the total number of gruntz in the end i have like 6 gruntz... (and the map was original Star Warz)

You can check for example my level called Gummy Bubble. The playable area is only 20x20 but there is filling eyecandy all around making the level nice size of 32x24. It doesn't have to be actually small to be small level. With my logic you can make puzzle only 6x6. The rest would be eyecandy.
And yes there is a level with 19x19 size called Magic Grunt (mine level too). And I admit it is a very bad idea and if there would be thriving community, it would be downvoted very hard. While making the level I didn't realized that but you know it, so you should avoid it.

Hey there! I'm still checking the forums once a month or so and I noticed you missed 2 of my levels in the 32x24 indices... The maps are: Shooting Experience The Faster The Better If you missed them completely, you might want to check them out and complete them on perfect

This one I like the most... good eyecandies, new idea (purple swithes) and not that time consuming... I always like to replay that level again and again... I guess this one is best one of these 21 I submitted.

This level is one of the oldest one I have ever made... So at that time i didn't realised that you can do it without second springs... and that enemy grunt will not go over spikez...

So... Well... First of all I must admit I had NO IDEA how much work you are putting into those levels, GooRoo... You are replacing every playable object in the game to fit exactly on the top-left corner of tiles. But there you made a mistake. The coin we are talking about should be on the breaking-bridge tile (or how is it called) in the bottom right corner. And I see what you are doing there (probably all the time...) making every shore not that straight... I wanted to send comparing PNG image but ProBoards refused to accept it...

Well... Below the fortress there's no coin, i just checked, we might not be talking about the same level...? For the boomerang, you can blow him up And there are few places where the UFO cant cast the deadray

But for example in Win8.1 you can simply doble click the .iso and it will open itself in new disc, so you can then copy the contents from it or launch startup and so on. Maybe the higher generations of Win may be able to do it as well.

I finished the level but missed 2 coins which are near the lavapit towards the end of the game. there is a one-way arrow which prevents me from reaching them. Where is the switch for it? It is placed behind an "double tree" to the east from blue final switch

There's problem with doing this. If the whole fort is not located on "normal" tilez (something like 1, 2, 3... maybe bridge will be also suitable), the fort will not works, your grunt can walk into it and in it, but the trigger will not be triggered -> you cannot win the game. Happened to me when I have decided to make only 2x3 ground for king's fort in lava pit...

Hey guys! Keep calm and keep calm. I prefered medium dificulty but it's up to GooRoo. He has the main vote (and only one, if needed). Bad-designed Zu? Well, the checkpoint should't be like this. Now I don't like these checkpoints, too, but there is only one. So it's not so bad, don't you think?

I think it's nice remake but you should add correct snow/dirt edges (around added arrows and around one multi-grunt switch). I thought that only changing the original is not an objective of the project. I thought that the objective is recreate the campaign/quest mode. Create new maps, absolutely different, a little harder etc. I think that this is not the V2 version that ...ehm... your founded project ...ehm... will like it. (please don't hurt me because of my opinion... just kidding )

GooRoo, refer to my previous post in this topic for a quick solution for your registry. The "Tap" and "right click" methods do not bring anything up to allow me to "run ... regedit". I keep stumbling around, and managed to successfully search for RegEdit, but there is nothing like the path indicated in the earlier post for me to edit a member. MicroSloth keeps making their Operating Systems less and less "user friendly" ... to the point of being very "user UNfriendly"! No shutdown/sleep/hibernate options, no easily accessible "Control Panel" ... hidden method of establishing default programs to use with various file extensions (WWD) ... I could go on and on about the ridiculousness of the "improvements" made with each Operating System 'upgrade'. MY wife and I both agree that we were much better off with Windows 98 ... at least using that made sense!I can help you get friendly with win8. At least a liitle bit. For Run... - Just Right-click left-bottom corner, than click on Run... (third from bottom) and type in "regedit" For Shutdown/sleep/hibernate - Slide down on the right side of the monitor with your mouse, click on Options (I have it in Czech so i hope this translation is alright) and on bottom of magically appeared window, there is six buttons and the bottom-middle is PowerButton. For Shutdown/sleep/hibernate - Another option is Alt+F4 and then choose your "end" option. For Control Panel - Right-click on the desktop and choose adjust? adapt? option (the very bottom), than click on Main control panel? (upper left corner) For Setting the initial program - Double click on the WWD and then choose other options? (bottom) scroll down and last option is Find another application in this computer?. Tick for Use it for ever? Most of this help is "lost in the translation" but i believe that it will help. I'm using win8.1 but there will not be so many differencies. I think.

At first, I really liked the level, but as I got further into it, the more frustrating it started getting with the abundance of ranged enemies everywhere. It's one thing when there are ranged enemies you can clearly see and which you can avoid with no loss of health, and there's enough safe spots to put your gruntz there and be able to think without any pressure. That would have been fair, if mildly annoying. But when you start throwing the player's gruntz into situations where they can't stop anywhere without being under danger, the player has to control more than one grunt at once to avoid losing their health, has to make long-term decisions under pressure, and when even checkpoints aren't safe to stand on, this goes from just annoying into really frustrating. The breaking point for me was when I reached the section with the stone gruntz and the welder grunt... after several tries, I finally managed to successfully keep my gruntz alive without taking a hit, only to look around and realize that I'll later need to bring my goober straw across spikez... and he doesn't even have enough health to survive. Sorry for that Zu, but this is one of my earlier levelz. This no longer happens in later gamez. I know this is brainstorming game but it can be also about grunt-management, fast clicking and so on , other?

This would be a really good idea if we had 20 or so people who regularly make Gruntz levels and are very skilled at it... but alas, Gruntz levels don't come very often these days, and there's only a handful of people who make any levels at all... and some of those people, well, can't really make standard level quality levels, I'm sad to say. Things like too much empty space, putting things at the very corners of the map, mismatching tiles - these are the primary mistakes such people do, and which just wouldn't fit in a standard level. Considering all this, I think a more realistic project would be to make 8 levels, one per each world, with gradually increasing difficulty. That at least would have some chance of reaching completion. I agree with this. And because of it, I'm working on my project.

I would like to say, I am already doing the 32 levelz like the original quest mode. But they are a micro mapz (32x24) with no secretz and the difficulty is random, some levelz are hard, some easy... But I have completed only 6 levelz and 15 are not suitable yet (they are 20x20). So I will continue on my "quest mode" and left this in your handz, Gruntzerz! And I will use this anniversary/final date as my final date, too but I hope I'll finish it sooner. Hey! Dont take all of the levelz. We are working too Don't worry! I'm not working on the project written in the topic but on my own project. You can create whatever you want.
