true (and IMHO it should be changed)... this option was open on the very first dayz of this forum... with a list of almost 200 registered memberz and a lot of SPAM I don't think it is possible... if this person is under 13 and cannot be a member he might download gamez without being a member in the forum...(and IMHO it should be changed too)...
The COPPA law is meant to protect young ones from predatorz in an on-line (chatting) environment ... which we do not have here. "Chatting" is rather difficult for guestz, so the age 13 restriction against membership in a Forum such as this. Being able to download Gruntz Custom Levelz from this Forum does not put anyone in any danger ... I certainly will not make any Custom Level available that offendz my sensibilitiez (which are rather stringent!), so there should never be anything in a Custom Level to offend anyone. My theory is that anyone downloading Custom Levelz must have the Gruntz game in order to play them; and some of these CLz are tricky enough that assistance is required in order to solve them ... and that requirez posting questionz in an area where membership in the Forum is required. So I feel that someone who downloadz a CL is merely a member who hasn't joined ... yet.
Well, I had a bit of "an argument" with the procedure to add you to the Gruntz Fanz address list in the new e-mail account ... but finally got it done. You should receive the next Custom Level distribution e-mail along with 61 other Gruntzerz!
I will get your e-mail address from your profile. There is never a need to 'publish' your e-mail address in a post. I only say this for your own protection ... so you do not find yourself bombarded by SPAM.
I already had you in my contact list, so just moved it into the Gruntz Fanz address list (group). So it will have your name, not your 'handle' ... but I send Gruntz Custom Levelz to Gruntz Fanz as "blind carbon copiez", so no one else will see your name on the list.
