This is the second Battlez puzzle designed by Blaze The Movie Fan. This puzzle is currently not available from Paul's Gruntz Page. Those on the 'Gruntz Fanz' mailing list received it around October 18, 2003.

I found the problem in the oil split!The bottem right fortz orange switch has the wrong IDnumber :oIn the rects it has the wrong ID number. In the move bottom rects field, the right number is 17734! ;)Hope it helps

Thanks for taking the time to determine what the correct ID number is for that puzzle! With so many Orange Switchez, and associated Orange Pyramidz, I just tossed the level aside. Now, I will go into "The Oil Split" with the Gruntz Level Editor and make the change as you indicated in your post; test the level; and re-upload it (if that fixes the problem).

Altogether a very nice level. I'm a little bothered by the empty center and by the time you sometimes have to wait for springz or wingz.

The link for this level is broken. (in fact the links for most of the battle levels are) I hope it gets fixed soon. The spacez in the file namez were removed, but the linkz were not changed in the same way. I am correcting them during this pass through the Forum. This Battle link has already been corrected. Thank you for the information ... since I do not play Battlez, I would never have found out there was a problem.

The "Fixed" and "Modified" versions were stored (by someone other than me ... obviously) on one of those 'free' storage sites that does not retain files very long. I can provide the original map for download, but then someone will probably want to 'modify' and/or 'fix' it. If I am busy, and miss the re-submission(s), it will be the same old problem.

These links weren't on some random free hosting but Zu's own Dropbox, which is a permanent storage. He must've removed the files himself (to save space for example), because other links he provided even before these are still working.

DropBox has at some point changed the way the free accounts are handled, which of course meant that the old links were no longer working, despite the files still being present on my account.

Just played this map and there are few glaring issues, those being the complete lack of waypoints and guardpoints (I believe it goes without saying what that causes and how it needs to be fixed) and the powerups, that are both very close to forts and last for multiple minutes, allowing a single grunt with a powerup to solo entire defense squads in their own fort. There are other minor issues as well - the southwest fort lacks one of the starting tools (Toobz if my memory serves me right), and it's also the fort where the orange switch is initially down. That will not matter most of the time but to preserve equal conditions for all players I think there should be another orange switch toggling a single pyramid, both of those being somewhere unreachable, just so that all forts have their pyramids up at the start of the game.
