Could you make it just a little bit bigger (2 tilez to each side)? It will preserve my (and everyone else'z) screen resolution. Thank you.

I would like to have someone who enjoyz Battlez (other than the Designer to do the BETA testing on this Gruntz Battle puzzle. (I do not enjoy Battlez at all.) Contact the Designer for the puzzle, or just ask me (GooRoo) to send it to you.

The bridges should have a longer timer, I once had a toobz stuck on that for a few minutes before bombing it and it goes without saying that AIs kill themselves a LOT on those. Also there doesn't seem to be much of a point to the gruntz in the middle. I like the map overall but it wouldn't hurt to increase that bridge timer and I think it would also be better if the gruntz in the middle had access to each others' platforms and could toggle a GHS leading to their respective forts so that the bridges aren't the only point of access.

Reece has been absent from this Forum for years, but I doubt he would object to someone updating it, as long as credit is given for the original effort.

We played this battle but it's lacking a statz page... Fortunately I still had the image in my folder.

I played through this with my siblings, and then came back and stitched together a screenshot with the AI players. This is missing a map, so figured I'd provide one. Now here is my probably unwanted opinion several years late: The map isn't bad for a tiny/small map, but the aesthetics are bothering me, particularly where the holes do not match the background. I do not understand the point of the green hutches connected to one other hutch, but my sister made use of it by putting in gunhats and walking back and forth to shoot at gruntz. My personal suggestions for this would be to: - Connect all the hutches together to allow movement between all fort areas, not just two
- Put a toggle or permanently up bridge between the springs hutches
- Move the curses elsewhere in the water to swim to
- Change the holes background to match
- Put in a few trees and lilypads/water objects
- Put in a rocky background for each fort area
While I could make an update with these suggestions (crediting the original creator) I'm a bit hesitant to do so as it's not mine, and I don't want to clutter up the index with new version files. (I think this was done with the Back-2-Back level, as I saw two versions in the battlez index that looked the same.)

Ended up making an update to the level anyhow, while still preserving the basic key functions and look of the level.
Changes Include:
- Changed map size to 33x31 for screen resolution and symmetry purposes
- Added an impassable border around the map and walled off the adjacent water tiles
- Connected all four green hutches to eachother and added a spongegun to give the hutches some gameplay use
- Moved the curses to the middle of the water and fixed the logic so they display
- Added a 10 minute respawn timer for curses and a 5 minute respawn for powerups
- Moved grunt creation pads and tools so the AI would pick up the correct tools
- Increased the sinking bridges to 3 tiles wide and changed time up from 1.7 seconds to 6 seconds
- Fixed brick logics to show colors for player's own fort
- Fixed guardpoints and waypoints
- Added rocky background and eyecandy
- Added Ambient sounds

That's a piece of work! I think you would be a great Designer, don't know why you feel strange with this role.
I find the original suitable for me, so I'd love to try out this updated version!

Oh I feel strange going from newbie to Designer instantly without really making my own level. Which I intend to do one day.
I tested it twice with my siblings (no AI though) so I personally think it works pretty well. Like to hear what others think of it.
