When you kill him, he drops everything, or drops everything when his health is low, and can't pick anything up.

You may see an object on top of a mound,, after you dig the mound up, another object appearz. The first object becomez a BehindCandyAni, there is no way to reverse it. This would be a problem if the grunt were to get more than a single object.

What about a boss grunt? It appearz near the fortress when you get the yellow warpstone.You must kill it to go to the next level.Sometimez it can have 2 swordz,sometimez a golden tool.Even it can have roidz!

Hmm.. I think gruntz can be tough enough without bossez.

Personally, I think this entire thread is moot ... there simply won't be a "Gruntz 2" ... unless my six numberz come up in a major lottery, allowing me to buy everything related to Gruntz, and hire the people to develop that new version. I would want Gruntz 2 to be mildly 3-D ... so that when a Grunt goes up (or down) a stairway, the view is from the new elevation ... looking up the wallz (in a gulley) or down from a plateau ... and the solver would only see what could be seen from the Grunt's perspective ... the inset map would be the overview, but the main screen would only show what could be seen by the Grunt in the direction it is facing.

3D and maybe in third person,which you can view your own grunt! There must be a way to change the view between your gruntz.Also,the player can change the type of view(1st or 3rd person) during the game

Hey people, no more ideaz? Designerz, let's reactivate this thread! As for my old stuff-picker grunt, that grunt could pick only one tool/toy/powerup/curse and act like a thief(dropz the tool when he diez, like alexandgruntz said). If not, the grey grunt could be a toy thief! Just like a combination of the tool thief with the toyer... stealz your toy, givez it to you, and standz still. As for the old rock-launcher, the rolling ball would reappear after 5 secondz (but no grunt can pick it up again) Now to BattlezM's Golden Toolz, I have some ideaz too: - Welder: Faster stamina recovery time.
- Rockz: Can attack twice without recovering stamina.
- Clubz: Damage is incresed to 10/20.
- Shovelz: Can create bridgez on water/death, but must create a hole on an adjacent clear tile.
- TimeBombz: 5X5 explosion, but stamina recovery time would be increased to 10 secondz.
- Bombz: Doesn't kill any grunt on the same team.
- Toobz: Grunt can swim on Tar/Quicksand/Lava/Hot Griddle, losing 2/20 of health at each 5 tilez
- Springz: Can jump over 2 death tilez.

Not only do I not feel this thread should be re-activated, I feel there has been entirely too much discussion about an product release that will never happen.
So I am locking this thread, with the WARNING that I do not want to see any further "Gruntz 2" type postz.
I will encourage postz about using the existing Gruntz game engine, and the Gruntz Level Editor to improve the puzzlez that are created. The idea of using the Gruntziclez' "burrow" as more than mere EyeCandy, for instance, fallz within the realm of something that we can do to extend the playability of Gruntz.
