setup is unable to decompress and copy all the files needed to proceed with installsion im running windows xp i thought i already installed gruntz there is a file with the data in the c drive and eveything any ideas need support plz is it my disk if it is can you send me the game to my email plz or can u please make somthing so i dont need the disk to play this game help would be appreciated mind my spelling please help asap please

setup is unable to decompress and copy all the files needed to proceed with installsion A little punctuation and capitalization would go a long way to make a post readable. Unless you somehow have a 64 bit version of Windows XP, the installation program should work just fine. Only Windows Vista 64 bit is unhappy with the Gruntz installer. There is a thread in Gruntz General where one of our young geniusez describez how easy it is to install the game without using the installer. The most common difficulty userz run across is how to set up for playing Custom Levelz. The only trick is to create a folder named 'custom' (any combination of upper and/or lower case letterz workz) within the folder where you have Gruntz installed. On my computerz, that has been "C:\Games\Gruntz", so the new folder is "C:\Games\Gruntz\Custom". Then you SAVE your CL(z) into that Custom folder. Frequently, a CL that is downloaded or distributed via e-mail will result in a Dialog Box opening saying something like "Unable to locate the Gruntz.REZ file", with an option to specify such a location. The Dialog Box has two entriez that need to be changed ... both begin with "..Gruntz", and the solution is to replace the ".." with the path to Gruntz, as "C:\Games\Gruntz".That is what this Forum is about ... and the Gruntz General Board is the proper place to ask questionz. You should start a new thread, or continue a thread dealing with the same sort of problem you are having. That way, the next person with the same problem will have a better chance of finding the answer, and related problem solutionz. Probably not. If you really have a problem with the disk (CDz can become scratched and difficult to read), you could snail mail me your CD-ROM (so I know that you have legal possession of the game) along with a self-addressed and stamped package with proper postage, and I will create a working disk and mail your original and the new copy back to you. Your spelling is not a problem, but the lack of punctuation makez it a tad difficult to determine where one sentence endz, and the next beginz. Also, the use of Capital letterz to begin a new sentence helpz considerably. My 'spelling' is atrocious, according to this spell checker, because I type "Gruntzese" ... pluralz end with a 'z' instead of an 's'.  |

hey can you please send me all these battlez maps playing the ones i have are extremly boring hoped u liked my template for the battlez map im gonna make its one where no one dies only the gruntz notthe leaders and gonna be real epic and the map setting is gonna be great too what u said was cool i just started a new map and my editer is working fine

Just click on the image to start the download. That way, you will acquire the Battlez as you are ready to tackle them. |

somone please tell me how to make spawn points for gruntz (place where u drop grunt and it comes to life i know how to do it but how do u make it on your team and appear when playing in game and how to put items in rocks do i place them in the rock and how to stop the item maker

 A decent Battle overall, rather small and makes for quick gameplay. However, the border areas of the map are often neglected due to the fortz being so easy to capture (players afraid to go too far away). Maybe it would've been better if the holes surrounding brick foundations were dug from the start or getting powerupz and cursez didn't require waiting for automatic bridges. The only other issue I have with this level is that the Rolling Ballz have a very intrusive path, often squashing not only AI Gruntz because of their high speeds and multiplayer input delay. |

Ah, the joys of Multiplayer (except for me, the one who only gets more work in index updating) that actually works now! Three new Statz Page images, from three different Designers, three different letters of the Alphabet and (probably) three different graphics sets. That is 15 different indices, not counting however may release years are involved. And I just finished the most recent task list ... now there are more ... which I will start on ... tomorrow. It is bedtime now, to rest up for the new chores.
