Yes, I am making a new CL. It is going to be frustrating, but this CL will be different to everything you have seen so far. It will consist of nine HUGE areas - each with only one puzzle, and a small border where a single grunt will have to walk with the warpstone. One of the areas is the secret area, where the red warp will be sending you. The areas are meant to be the testing ground for completely new types of puzzles.
BattlezM have asked me to give this warning:
Do the first barehand'z and shovel'z areaz first!! Severe amount of time to wait if these areaz are done later due to Gruntz game engine bugs!!

Well the CL is almost completed. If anyone volunteers to be a BETA-tester then send me a pm with your e-mail address. I will send you the full CL, and the version without eyecandy.
As to the CL - Its a masterpiece. I have managed to make a completely new type of puzzle, and set up variations of known puzzles so far unseen. Some of the puzzles are not new in any other way than their scale and complexity.

Finished... Now I just need the BETA-testing (yes i know that e.g. BattlezM have said he would, but i have no email...) as written in the post above. I will send it to GooRoo now. I don't have a Statz Page, so any BETA testers may send that in. Everything should be ok, i have tested every puzzle in the CL, but I haven't tested the CL form one end to another.

I sent you my e-mail. Does this level have any APSz (Automatic Proximity Switchez) by any chance?

I received this Custom Level and its Statz Page image today. I probably will send it out untested (by me), due to my time schedule for the next few days. (I also mis-filed it under the wrong Designer, because the "=?iso-8859-1?B?..." 'From:' line is the same as another Designer. Incidentally, that ISP (e-mail) source is where the vast majority of my SPAM e-mails originate ... I almost deleted it without opening it! )

I think I have already goofed...am I supposed to let the thief grunt take the timebombz and try to stay out of his way while he blowz up the rocks? I will need at least two gruntz to stand on the PMGS'z at the bottom, but can't get to them because one of the GP'z is still up..."A little help here, please?"

No, I thought that would release the rolling rockz, and since no one is standing on the PMGS'z, they will break before they trip the GTS'z at the end, ....right?

Seems like very few have tried this CL, and that is a petty as lots of hard work have been spent on it I can only assume that the "frustrating" difficulty is scaring everyone away (yes i DO remember what happened with "Karaoke bar"), but don't worry, this CL is not "frustrating" in the way you think. When you play this CL and get stuck, you wont be thinking to yourself "WHY can't I get that stupid timing right after the the XXXXth time, ill send the designer some hate mail", because that kind of puzzles are simply left out. Instead I have made puzzlez that force you to think hard about what you are doing, because if you don't - you fail. There are tightly timed puzzlez, but they can also be solved by doing the little bit extra thinking, all of them are filled with safe tiles with relative short distance. What I'm trying to say is that i get disappointed when no one seems to at least try my CL, but give up when they see the difficulty level, and i know that most players would like the challenge.

I would like to say that the entry puzzle is great, yeah, requirez a lot of thinking. But I couldn't progress much further in the level, got a bit confused in the next area. In my opinion, some people tried the level, but got stuck somewhere and are afraid of asking. In many games that happens. I'm myself on of those, I got stuck in almost every level and don't ask in most of them. Bad example to you all. But I also don't try many times a CL because I don't have enough time. I have 2 forums, and am a member of over 10 others. I also have other games to play, and, of course, my life. So I would recommend for those who are afraid of asking, try to ask. As said in the Courtesy Rules, the only dumb question is the one that never gets asked. No questions are dumb at all, and that's what each CL thread is for, get to solve the puzzle, right? By the way, there could be some people that are afraid to play the level because of the difficulty, too. But for those, I would say try, try and try again. If your fingers aren't enough for the timing, try to find a trick to skip that timing, if it's impossible, then give up. Of course, try something that you just can't do is annoying.

I finished your CL some time ago, but forgot to thank you about it . I should add that I really liked it, despite the fact that I had to replay it from the start because I missed the secret (I couldn't see what the BOTS near spongegun did ) For other gruntzers, I agree with you : the difficulty isn't so frustrating, but you have to think the right way (and that's what I prefer in CLz). BTW, I finally managed to finish all the CLz with a PERFECT score , except SecretSoduko3 and SpaceKaraoke which, I think, are impossible (see the links for details).

For other gruntzers, I agree with you : the difficulty isn't so frustrating, but you have to think the right way (and that's what I prefer in CLz). I also prefer to design and play CLz with that objective: more thinking rather than timing, makes the level much more enjoyable, so usually most solverz like it when they have to think. And that's why Gruntz is a Puzzle Powered Brain Game! For GooRoo: remember that, when time permits, the background to this board should be changed, because ILoveGruntz's Zone1 was released 1 month after my Space Puzzle Arena.

Seems like I was wrong... people have tried it. Thanks for the replies, It seems as if you have enjoyed playing this CL as much as I enjoyed making it (some of those parts were EXACTLY as fun to make as they looked ) And I think SwordGrunt is right - either people are afraid to ask, or they simply forgets Please ask if there is anything, Ill be glad to help. PS: I might soon start on Zone 2...

I just started this one today and got stuck and thought I would go to the forum to read about it. When I saw it said "Frustrating" , I thought "Oh No!" I like all different types of levelz, but some of them are so hard that I can't get any farther in them and put them away for another time. I DID complete, with a PERFECT I might add, your level Karoake Bar. That one and a lot of BattlezM's levelz were the hardest ones for me, so I'm not scared and will always give them a try. By the way, I don't have a problem asking for HELP and maybe ask to many questions at times. I am trying to get my shovel to his checkpoint. I got all the coinz and am trying to figure out how to press the green toggle switch above me, to the right of me where there are 5 red pyramidz and a silver switch, and the green switch in the lower right hand corner. I can get to the one above me and to the right, but am stuck there with no way out. Am I going the right way?

At first I didn't quite get your problem, but then I remembered the trap I made at each switch.
When going right: The silver switch is your way out - watch carefully what happens when it is pressed, or rather what don't happen when it is not pressed (easier to see). Then you will know where the exit is...
When going up: nowhere out - yet.
When going down: You probably have guessed that another switch is needed first...
BTW when asking about the area you are having trouble with, I would appreciate if called them area 1 - 9, arranged like this:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Meaning that twiggy'z problem is in area 4.

Ok, I got through area 4 and area 7. I am stuck in area 9 as I can't get any farther with my timebombz. Also, I can't get my barehand in area 8 to go any farther. I don't know what to do with the toolz and can't get to the coinz above. Is there a particular order to play the areas or is it just to get through each one on it's own??

Each area is on it'z own (except 2 are related if you want the secret red warp). For the barehand, try to use the tool that can do most at first I did: brickz --> shovelz --> gauntletz You will revisit the start of the zone to gain a clear path to the upper area, it will be when you have gauntletz. How are you stuck with timebombz? Is it the 2 hold switchez near each other that must be simultaneously pressed? If so, you need to hit the thief so he stopz briefly on one while you step on the other. It'z the more annoying part of this elaborate area.

The difficulty in area 8 isn't really to use the correct toolz, but to use the correct switchez... A switch may open the path for you, but then it will block your progress later on - many swithez needs to be pressed several times in this area.
In area 9 - did you see the tool thief?
