Hi there. I remember there was a thread explaining how does Wap World Editor generates new ID for an object when CalcCowlID button was pressed. I can't find it though. Does anyone know where this thread is? Or, if anyone knows the pattern, post it here. I'd really appreciate it.

A Tile placed at X=8, Y=5 would have an ID of 2053, for instance. A Tile placed at X=0, Y=23 would have an ID of 23. I have made it a habit to do a CalcCowID on everything that is not some form of EyeCandy ... and even do some of those, when a nearby plain tile location is significant, as one that is a SecretTeleporterTrigger, for instance, and there is nothing else nearby that has a logic assigned to it. That helpz me when testing my mini-puzzlez ... easez identification of where something is on the map.

Tricky, but not when one of the dimensions of a map is sized over ( or equal to ) 256, ID would be pointing to false coordinatez then. I believe the Gruntz will crash then though I'm just curious, is there any way to create such a pattern, but without any limits and involving not too big numbers as the result ... Thanks anyway.

The Gruntz Level Editor probably has a built-in limit of 256X256 tilez ... I have never tried to exceed that ... but soon gave up on creating a CL that was 256X256 ... too much work area for this old brain. Just look at some of the 80X80 CLz and see just how much empty space there is in them. IMHO, 80X80 is the practical limit for a CL that is not designed to be a picture (recognizable when viewed in the map in the Statz border). Paul's "A World Of Sweetz" remainz the best large CL in termz of mini-puzzlez with a relatively dense overall map. (I guess that is why he has not created another Gruntz CL ... when you do something that well the first time, you're afraid that it is all downhill from there. )
