Well out of boredom I just made a small CL, and Gruntz crashes when it tries to load it. It loads about halfway then crashes. It's been some time I don't mess with this so I thought I'd ask you all. What are the possible causes for this crash so I can look into it?

Well out of boredom I just made a small CL, and Gruntz crashes when it tries to load it. It loads about halfway then crashes. It's been some time I don't mess with this so I thought I'd ask you all. What are the possible causes for this crash so I can look into it? There are several reasonz for a loading failure. One of them is for there to be only one solver's Grunt, and that GruntStartingPoint to be on a tile that may become a Death Tile (Pyramid activated by a Rolling Rock, for instance). The most frequent undiagnosed error, however, is an invalid Tile # (193 or 194 in Rocky Roadz, for instance) somewhere in the map. If you cannot find the problem, send it to someone you know has submitted several Custom Levelz ... they can probably determine the cause of the problem, and report it back to you.

Both GruntStartingPoint'z are on clear tilez and the graphicz set is Trouble in the Tropicz.
Well I'll look into it a little more, I guess.

I have had many things cause this same problem. Look for: Giant rockz--no logics invalid or no logics on switches or tiles no logics on brickz too many gruntz on one team Invalid logic for the level (for instance, putting an Airplane in area 3 instead of the Bird.) Using the wrong areas static hazard. I could go on. If you can't find the cause and the level isn't very big, sometimes it's best to get rid of all the logics and start again.

I don't have acess to the level just now, but I know that there are no rockz or brickz at all (surprisingly). Well there are a couple rockz just for decoration but they're not giant ones, so there's no logic on them. And don't the Static Hazardz all use the same logic? Unless you meant the special hazard (UFO, bird etc.) in which case there also is none in the level. I have to check the switchez and pyramidz though. I may just start from scratch as well, since it's a small and simple level. If you can figure out the puzzlez fast, you'll be done with it in less than 10 minutes. I made it in a few hours though

There, it was an Object Guard. I put the object's mouse coordinatez (or whatever you spell it) instead of the tile coordinatez, which caused Gruntz to go mad and crash...
