Flagz are a very special, recently discovered ability. The Gruntz Editor doesn't talk much about them (it advisez you to avoid using them ). In the flagz box (it is accessible in the other column down from Rects), there is a area called Draw Flagz. In this section there are four optionz:
The No Draw will make the object invisible. So far it has only worked for RBz (so you can't make invisible coinz, enemiez, etc. [at least noone knowz how]). Do not overuse invisible RBz in your levelz (it'z better if you don't use them at all), it can quickly make your level too annoying, tiresome, and impossible to be played!
The Invert will flip an object upside down. Don't use this one too often, it normally makez logicz look extremely weird than interesting.
Of all of them, the Mirror flag is the most useful. Checking the Mirror box will make a direct mirror image of the object, it workz with everything. Note: when you make a mirror image of a tool (or coin, something that spinz), it rotatez in the opposite direction! However this handy flag has itz drawbackz. Using the Mirror flag will also make a mirror of the shadow as well. For very tall objectz (like candy canez) the effect will make your level appear to take two different prespectivez! If you are making a serious level, this is a huge no-no. One of my levelz (MirrorImageLand) takez advantage of this. If you do choose to give your level two different prespectivez, do not mix mirrorz with non-mirrorz!
Warning!!! Do not overuse Mirror flagz in concentrated amountz in you levelz!! It makez the map drag around very slowly and every thing lookz jerky.
Checking the Flash will make the object flash rapidly. Another one not to be overused, flashez appear very unpleasant to the eyez, even if it'z just 1. So don't put more than 5 flashing objectz in your level (and they should be at least 10 tilez apart).
Here are two levelz that show some examplez about flagz. They also include some interesting thingz about new object dropperz and Scroll Gruntz. It may be worth your while to check them out even if you understand flagz.
