Hm, I don't think this one was ever released, nor do I think I've received it either. What of it?

Hm, I don't think this one was ever released, nor do I think I've received it either. What of it? Very few Gruntzerz commented about Battlez, and most said they didn't, so I have not been e-mailing them. I would need to create a Battlez Gruntz Fanz address list ... but seldom get any response to requestz for such information. When I requested that in the past, the only responsez (and few of them!) were that they did not want them.

The level doesn't seem to be available for download either, which is strange, since I sent you Ponderosa Pandemonium and Fallen Angels at the same time, yet the latter appears to be available for download. It's under "verifying" for some reason; were you skeptical about the usage of orange switchez in this level? A lot of people seem to believe that computer Gruntz have trouble using them (which were never used in the standard Battlez levelz), but it has never been an issue for me during my playthroughz.
If you lost the level somehow, I'm afraid I won't be able to send you another copy because my e-mail has been on the fritz for the past month and I don't know when I'll be able to get it working again.

It was a case of a broken link ... the WWD has been on the web host all along ... with a space in the middle "Ponderosa Pandemonium" instead of spaceless "PonderosaPandemonium". The link has been repaired, and it is now possible to download it from the Forum's web host. (I believe I tried to make a hasty fix when I had the link fail, and changed it from the battlez folder into the custom folder ... where it certainly did not exist! Try the link yourself, and let me know if you have any further problemz.)

A decent battlez level we played yesterday. It highly resembles standard maps provided in the base game, there is a lot of room to fight and moving around outside fort areas is very safe, which is why the AI has no problems attacking other players in this map (I eventually got conquered by them, after being attacked by 3 people at once). Toobz and wingz scattered around the islands add more variety to gameplay but one thing I was missing were powerupz and cursez... They were put on the very edges of the map, so no one ever decided to use them. Every fort is slightly different but everything was kept balanced (except a minor thing in the north-eastern fort, where a flag is blocking entrance of one tile of brickz). Bridges above tar pits add some randomness to the level because they submerge so rarely that no one knows when exactly, I don't know what to think about this but other players rated this aspect positively.
