I was just copy-pasting the very same order from original AREA8 folder (extracted with kijanek's REZ Extractor), as all what this tileset can do is to alter the contents of already existing tileset ("Gruntz in Space" in this case). I hoped though that it will be possible to use separate copy of original REZ file for it so it won't overwrite the original tileset...

So, do we HAVE any way to edit REZ files, or is this tileset bound to die?

So, do we HAVE any way to edit REZ files, or is this tileset bound to die? Unless there is a way to validate WinRez(LT) for use, without being immediately quarantined by anti-virus/anti-spyware software, I think we are stuck. I have far more interesting and worthwhile thingz to do with my time than try to 'fix' the executable so that my firewall will allow its use. I HATE malware source providerz ... even though I am a Christian ... I can still HATE what these idiotz have done to the Internet!

Feel free to do so. But please keep in mind that since it's still beta, there might be some changes that will later require updating the Dizgruntled's version as well. So you're doing it at your own risk.

Has anybody been able to test the tileset in-game? I would be interested in getting some feedback, in case there's anything that needs some improvement in your opinion.

If you mean dizgruntled then give me a link to the tileset image file or zip file and I'll test it there! I think Tomalla was playing around with it in the vanilla game...

Zu's Virtual Reality Tileset in DizgruntledZu this is really a fantastic tileset! Can't wait for people to make some levels with it...

Just a heads up, I made a (hopefully) final change to the tileset. Namely, the static hazards (previously BSODs that were, absurdally, exploding with blue goo) were changed to explode with bursts of energy similar to the ones in the Kitchen levels. Both the sound effect and the animation frames were changed (info for hugheth). In case you forgot, it's available for download here: zutheskunk.deviantart.com/art/Gruntz-Virtual-Reality-tileset-v1-0-183417731

I have downloaded it, extracted it ... and the *.wwd looks terrible! I also cannot find any documentation ("How to...") ... just an Area8 folder with Tilez containing PIDs, etc. Since I do not have any program that can display PIDs (other than Gruntz), I have no way to see what is in the set. Can you make the PID viewer that you use available, or is it copyrighted proprietary property that may not be legally distributed?

A "How To" is included as a Readme. There should be a TXT file in there explaining everything.

No ... but I have been involved in other things Gruntzy, and have not been doing anything with disGruntled or the alternative tile sets. But my search for any sort of ReadMe has come up empty.

Wait, are you honestly telling me that the contents of the ZIP file (which I even downloaded just now just to check) don't look anything like this?

Wait, are you honestly telling me that the contents of the ZIP file (which I even downloaded just now just to check) don't look anything like this? No ... I only see created a folder named Area8 with five folderz within it - ANIZ
- IMAGEZ
- MIDIZ
- SOUNDZ
- TILEZ
Am I confusing two different ZIPped contents?
