This was a terrific level Zu. It took a lot of thought and practice. I finally (after many, many saved restarts in stage 4 and 5) managed to finish with a perfect. I think anyone should be able to do it as long as they have patience, and they look ahead. Kinda like chess! Now that there's a walkthrough, I'm going to do it again and see if it's any easier. Thanks for the great levels.

Zu, what a fantastic level!! I got the PERFECT. I admit that I had to use the walkthrough to figure out what I was supposed to do, especially on stage 4 and 5. The walkthrough was great! Thanks for taking the time to create it and thanks for the challenging and different level.

I'm glad you liked it. Yes, the last two stages have proven to be most problematic - an interesting thing about them is that they were intended to be even harder! Thankfully, I either had to decrease their difficulty (I'm following a simple rule: if I can't make it, no one will make it... and if I can, others also should), or just made them easier than previously intended. And I'm happy to know that my walktrough is useful.

I am totally stuck and don't know what to do. I did my last part of this let's play years ago (the video is titled "Me playing Gruntz - Bombergrunt - Part 4/?" click here if you wanna see it. Warning: Like most of my videos, it does have swearing, but you can mute the video to avoid it.) Anyway, I'm not sure how to explain how I'm stuck, the video itself does the talking. So please watch it. Also if you don't like swearing just mute the video, you don't really need the commentary to see how I'm stuck. I wanna get back into the level but I'm worried that if I do I'd still be stuck. Can someone tell me what to do?

If you actually stopped to take a look at the stage before pressing the black switch (which releases both you and the shovel grunt), you could have taken the time to analyze what needs to be done before anything bad happens.
In order to get past the shovel grunt, you have to reach him before he undigs all moundz. You have to find the shortest route through the bricks in order to do this.
Keep in mind however that unless you can somehow fix the slow-mo problem, you might want to give up on this level. The last 2 stages are going to be incredibly frustrating with it.

Of course, it should have crossed my mind that shovel grunt could be trouble. I feel so dumb now. And about the slow-mo, don't worry about it, the latest version of Fraps is able to record the gameplay footage at a much better phase. In fact my latest Gruntz video doesn't have that problem. I am gonna be playing this level again. But next time I will stop and think before I start the level. Thank you for making the level the way that it requires thinking, those are the kinds of levels I love.

I'm stuck again. What is the problem? Well I'm in this section, I did manage to get two of the gauntlets grunts to the green switches, but no matter where I go with my timebomb grunt, the third gauntlets grunt refuses to touch the final green switch. What gives? Can someone please tell me what I can do? Because I'm stumped. :-(

Have you tried standing right next to the switch (so on one of the green pyramidz) and moving away when he's starting to walk onto a green pyramid himself?

Just informing you I made the latest part of my let's play of this level.
But I don't think I'm going back to it, because I gave up by the end of the latest part.

Is this the puzzle you were working on when the game crashed? Yes, but that wasn't the reason I gave up, it's a puzzle that made me give up.

Did you find the walk-through useful ... did you even use it? I reviewed it, and there are even maps with color-coded routes for solving each section!

Where's the fun, if you just give up? The walk=through is designed so that you will see only as much as you need ... when you really need it. And it also gives textual clues, with the visual "How to ..." something you have to click on to see ... it is not shoved in your face.
Give it a try!

I might give it a try when I have the modification to continue the level, but currently I don't.
That's why I'm not asking for help.
