It’s summer, yea!! Oh boy, the State fair will be here in a month or so, and what do ya know....Groan has a fair too. The Gruntz just love it. . . .the Disgruntled not so much. Hope you like it too!

I, for one, am looking forward to a return to the land of Groan! (There has been a severe drought in this land, so maybe Groan will precipitate some Gruntzy thunder!) BTW, my primary e-mail account has not been available to me for about ten dayz. So it will be necessary to send the puzzle to me in my distribution e-mail account as an attachment. I fear that my URL has been black listed once again, this time without any warning, and without providing me a meanz to defend myself. The Monolith Gruntz Forum that was unmonitored for so long provided malicious someone(z) with e-mail addressez to spoof for SPAMming. And mine is obviously one that has been particularly singled out for that abuse.

Check your e-mail in-boxez, Gruntz Fanz! This one was sent out a few hourz ago, and I had dinner and created the "View the Map!" image before posting this announcement. (Someone has undoubtedly already solved the puzzle ... or is ready to ask questionz about it!)

Okay. I've been trying to solve the level. Now I'm stuck at this point shown below, with no clue what to do next. Any help? Also, one thing... please remember in the future to not place the impassable tilez under EyeCandiez that are meant to be a normal, passable BehindCandy. It wouldn't be a big deal and I wouldn't mention it if not the fact that in the top center area of the level, one of such perfidious EyeCandiez caused my grunt to walk off the cloud and fall to his death.

I haven't attempted the level yet, but from what I can see, if you want to get shovelz past the arrow, you can do it by using friendly fire as shovelz stepz out onto the side of space directly adjacent to the arrow.

Well, that's definitely good to know, thank you. But, I'm afraid that even though I can reach that area with this trick, I still can't achieve much. I don't have gauntletz to destroy the cupcake containing the Warpstone, and even if I did, there's no way I can get my gruntz onto the checkpoint switchez that would unlock the area with the King.

I'm pretty sure you've missed one hole in the area with enemy Gruntz There's something you might need in there.

I'm not quite sure what your problem is here, but I'm tending to agree with Tomalla. I think you missed something in the "animal barn". You should leave there with more health and another tool. You also have to visit the "monster wheel" before leaving the fair. Have fun and don't eat too much of anything "on a stick". (BTW, I suggest you just be a bit more careful when entering any area near the edge of the atmosphere.)

Sorry Zu, didn"t mean to sound so snotty, but I probably won't change how I do things.

In verifying this CL, I "stepped into limbo" quite a few timez myself. But I do not consider that the Designer's problem ... but mine, for not anticipating that Gruntz go up (or go right) when faced with an impassible tile, and lazily clicking on a destination with such an obstacle between it and the starting point of my Grunt. I keep telling myself to alwayz click on the safest path (not necessarily the shortest one!) ... and keep failing to listen.

If it was a type of EyeCandy that I can expect to have an impassable tile under it (like a candy stick), I wouldn't do such a mistake. But in this case, I was certain that the path ahead is safe and I can send my grunt straight to the destination... and it's not nice to be so brutally proven wrong. Additionally, near the end of the level I fell twice into the very same trap (as I previously tried to simply cheat the remaining rest of the level), which was a candy stick set in such a way that I thought that the area behind it was safe... and Warpstone Grunt end up falling to his death because of illogically placed impassable tile. Twice. And that's why I'm against this whole "magic shovel" trick... completely illogical and way too easy to forget about. Anyway, thank you for help, it was this one little thing that I was missing. I finally managed to finish the level... no perfect, though.

Managed to complete the level to a PERFECT, was enjoyable! I managed to fall for the little tricky eyecandy canez near the warpstone as well once. As far as getting around with the strangeness of eyecandiez, playing battlez such as 'Flying Fiascoez' pretty much taught me to never trust gruntz to get anywhere when challenged by void-like spacez...even if I know when they will go up/down reliably in some spotz. That and I'm stuck on the smallest resolution cause of windowz 7.

Personally I like puzzles which don't reassemble anything particular on the minimap - this way the designer focuses on the puzzles themselves, not on how to make them to create a picture once together. This way the puzzles are simply more ... appealing and more challenging. I don't like the sharp-edged ground tiles floating in the space ( without the transition tiles 104-139 ), I don't like the ditches that suddenly end without a reason ( I'm talking about tiles 40-73 ) ... maybe I am changing a fly into an elephant here, but these little things would really make me want to play one's level so much Those BehindCandiez are indeed cumbersome but not as irritating as one might think though this "Magic Shovel" trick is indeed unreal ... I mean in the terms of a Gruntzy realm of course I got PERFECT in the second playthrough. It was a little speed run, because I've finished it with a time of 28:55 Nice CL overall. Cheers
