Welcome! Multiplayer Gruntz has alwayz been difficult to figure out, I believe no one has ever been able to play it sucessfully unless they were in a LAN (Local Area Network). This thread's author claimz it workz with GameRanger, but I have yet to try it to make sure.

ok, not as I understand it, but if you can properly lead the game on the internet. apparently need to provide IP

No, you cannot host a game and play with someone else over the internet - except, theoretically, using GameRanger.
