Sorry for not replying sooner, in the middle finals which is helll!!! I'm hoping to get Dizgruntled 2.6 out when my exams end mid June, so hold me to that... I was just wondering: GooRoo, do you think I could allow custom maps to be downloaded from this forum inside the game? You've built up a very nice repository of levelz, so I'd be interested to know if you'd be happy with that, and if there's any repeated structure you've used to store the mapz that would make it easy to do for me (e.g. I see the map images tend to be kept at gooroosgruntz.info/hintz/Custom/Author/MapName/MapName.jpg)

I have been occupied with other projectz, so have not created any new Gruntz CLz myself, and would like to work on one I started a while back, under disGruntled. I have plenty of bandwidth available, so my space would be a marvelous place for disGruntled mapz! Exactly correct! I would have to be involved in the storage of mapz, but then they may be accessed using the correct explicit linkz, such as gooroosgruntz.info/hintz/Custom/GooRoo/Olio/Olio.jpg ... for example. All supporting elementz (as walk-through, inventory, maze solution, etc.) are stored under Author/Puzzle. And for the actual playable map, the link would be gooroosgruntz.info/custom/Olio.wwd for the same element as the viewable map.

Sounds great! I'd display the name and perhaps some details off the forums but leave discussion and posting for the forms as usual. Is there any easy way I can get the level list or do I just crawl through the threads in the custom level topics?

You probably want the Alphabetical order selection.

This thread was started after your last visit here, so did not exist 'way back when. You should be able to view just about every thread on the Forum ... but after almost five years, there are a lot of posts which are new to you, and will take a lot of time to read them all. Each time you read even just one post in a thread, that entire thread will no longer appear as 'new', so you may want to read all of the posts in a thread before logging off for the session.

Well, not that much was marked new, in fact, only tow or three forum was marked having new post. I still come about once in a month between, not knowing I wasn't logged in. XD
Anyway, back on topic. Both resolution was kinda too big for my screen. I forgot about the original, since I almost always play it full-screen.

Woah what's your screen resolution? I was fairly sure that 1024x768 was pretty much the lowest you got these days

I was fairly sure that 1024x768 was pretty much the lowest you got these days That was the first really important thing I learned at uni: You can test your program at any low resolution you like, your prof will have a screen/projector with a lower one. My finals tomorrow to Thursday, wish me luck!! Good luck!

It's great to hear that your exams are finally behind you! So, does that mean that the development of Dizgruntled will pick up the speed?

Thanks I am a BA as MEngs weren't invented when Cambridge started we get a fake MA in a few years though so it's fine. I shall see if I can get 2.6 out before not too long...
