Just a bit of nostalgia for (some of) you. There will never be a walk-through for this one, since it playz pretty much like the arcade game ... free form.
But it is ready for a BETA tester! (Test completed.)
There have been no 'takerz' for BETA testing Pac Man 4, 5, 6 or 7 (which I have ALPHA tested), but I will distribute all five this evening after my dinnertime.

The game might still be very old, and not very popular, but I can see that doesn't change the fact that the community is still active and making levels, and I'm glad that's the case.
You, SwordGrunt and everyone else who makes Gruntz levels make me proud. :-D
I won't be playing this level next, I still wanna finish Bomber Grunt by Zu. But I just know this is gonna be a fun level, your levels are always fun.

Seems straightforward enough, I'll try to play it, I'm not sure if I'll have much time but I think I can give it a shot tomorrow, probably at night or so. Please drop me a PM here as well if you email it to me as I haven't been checking my email often.

GooRoo, that's so crazy. I was working on an arcade-themed level for my first upload! I planned to recreate some simple arcade games. I had decided on Frogger, Space Invaders and Pac-Man. I've already made Frogger, luckily I didn't start work on Pac-Man. I'll give this a try during daylight hours.

Alright... perfect in 4:02, though I missed the screen capture, it's been a while and I'm used to printscreen instead of f12 haha
I had to play it a second time as on my first run I took an unnecessary hit and that ended up complicating thingz, other than that, nice idea for the level!

That Statz Page image would be nice to have. And you may want to take a look at PacMan7!

Well it doesn't show the PERFECT word because I captured it after it moved across the screen. That warp letter has some tough timing but once you know what to do it's no trouble huh!

I liked this level. It was an interesting challenge trying to make the enemy gruntz stop chasing, albeit frustrating.
The timing on the secret path is tight, as expected from an obvious secret switch. That's what saves are for.
The boulder on the left side of the map does not seem to kill gruntz, but the boulder on the right does. It may be because the boulder on the left is missing Speed X and Speed Y values, but I'm not sure.

That Rolling Rock suffers from being on X=0 ... but it should not really come into play ... since the solver is supposed to get through the Green Wormhole before the RR reaches that spot. The fact that no Rolling Rock at X=0 or Y=0 is fatal to the solver's Grunt is well known ... that's why I added in the Lava Geyser.

Well, PacMan8 has passed the BETA test, so it is cleared to be released by Tuesday (maybe Monday, St. Patrick's Day).
So now I need BETA tester(s) for PacMan6 and PacMan7. (I've been busy this week-end!)

(I've been busy this week-end!) So there are three levels in the making at the same time? Wow, man, you sure have a lot of energy which is a good thing. :-D I am about half done with PacMan5 ... where I let the enemy out of the box earlier ... armed with Swordz. My first test against them was too easy, so I have to tone down the solver's enhancements. And I haven't worked out the rewardz at all, yet. I know where most of them will be, but how to get the solver's Grunt to them is the next thing to do ... and establishing the Secret for the Warp Letter. You see, the PacMan board doesn't have a lot of opportunities for either a Secret Switch, or a Red Warp. It was obviously not possible to have 240 Coins to be acquired on the pathwayz, because the Grunt takez so much time exclaiming thingz like "Look at this!" ... during which time the enemy Gruntz would quickly turn him into a Goo Puddle. So I just have 240 copiez of a Tile that can be made unique to the pathwayz. The Coinz ar added on the outside of the PacMan board, accessible in various wayz. PacMan8 is IMHO the easiest of them, so far, and they have gotten a bit harder with each new effort. So PacMan7 is harder than PacMan8, but easier than PacMan6 ... which will be easier than PacMan5. But none of them will be much more than 15 minutez for a complete solution. PacMan4 (3, 2, 1) will not have the nice straight linez of these first four Questz, due to the limitations of the Graphics sets themselves.
