I seem to have dropped the ball on this one ... I certainly have not made any attempt at verification. Is there anyone doing a BETA test for this Quest? If not, I will take a stab at it in the next 24 to 48 hours.

I could try, but I still have to replay "Quest for the Wingz" to make sure my small adjustmentz to the level are working perfectly as intended. I'm also submitting another level soon and want to get started on "Swordz Akimbo V2" ASAP. But I can play this if another Beta Tester is needed.

Keep in mind the theme of the level (being that you're 'switching out' tools) and that there are lots of conveniently placed thief gruntz...most of the time. Also, if you dig up my original e-mail attachment, you should be able to find a loose walkthrough of the level.

Also, if you dig up my original e-mail attachment, you should be able to find a loose walkthrough of the level. Very loose walk-through! As I mentioned, I used the Rockz Grunt to dispose of several enemy Gruntz on the west side (after the Thief stole the Rockz from my original Rockz Grunt), but I have not 'switched' any other Grunt. I will take it back up tomorrow after my match and shopping with the wife. But 11:00PM has me too tired to think straight, so I will put this 73 year old body to bed now.

There is a case of "You can't get there from here" for me, on this one. I need a Shovel on the west side of the map, and cannot manage a way to get one over there. The Toggling Bridge in the southern Griddle has a timing beyond these 73 year-old fingers for a Shovel Grunt to cross ... and the Springz Grunt who can cross is of no help.

It is time to "bite the bullet" and resume testing on this puzzle. I am going to re-start from the beginning and reach the point of the cross-over in the southern griddle, and try at least a dozen times to get these old fingers to move fast and intelligently enough to get Shovel to the Tool Thief.
If that doesn't work, I will try to "switch out" the Shovel Grunt where I have been switching the Rockz Grunt ... after Shovel fillz in every Hole (and digz up every original Mound) on the east side of the map. But my previous attempts have led me to believe that Shovel should 'swap' somewhere else.

I wouldn't worry about this level atm. I'm still in the process of redesigning and rethinking some parts of it, though I've been busy lately. The only grunt intended to transfer over the griddle is the springz grunt.

Is there any chance that this one will be moved from "the back burner" to a hot spot on the stove?

I currently don't have access to Gruntz atm, so I don't really have an eta If I recall, there was something I wanted to edit with the OP/brickz section with the blue gauntlet breakers. I'll approve of any fitting edits to make that section doable, but I wouldn't be able to make them myself.

I'll approve of any fitting edits to make that section doable, but I wouldn't be able to make them myself. In this very New Year, I now have the ability to play Gruntz once again. Windows 10 compatibility mode for XP SP3 along with dgVooDoo solves many of the challenges to the game. Annoying to have to switch out ( ) of Gruntz to respond to a SAVE dialog, or to select a custom level to play in the first place, but once a SAVE slot is established, F5 works seamlessly inside Gruntz. Also, within Gruntz, F12 provides a clumsy but usable method to get screen grabs for creation of "View the map!" images. So I am,once again, able to perform more necessary duties to maintain this forum.

It doesn't seem like anyone has beaten it, so if you're willing to try to, then by all means go for it.

Testing the level started. Started with an issue! I decided that the one with OUDS was the first to go. There are three Gauntletz gruntz to clear with one gauntletz grunt (with steroidz) and two bare handed gruntz. The problem is as soon as the bare handed grunt presses the OUDS in north, three gauntletz gruntz will approach to the gauntletz grunt. If i try with the help of the other bare handed grunt, the gray pyramids will block the path because of the gauntletz enemies and i have to wait for the death animation to end to press the green switch on south after that. And even all these the olive rolling ball would already crash to the raised pyramid. I said it very complicated so maybe i should put a video?

It's been awhile since I designed this one (and still don't have an accessible computer to play it).
But the idea with that section was to have a bricklayer to be able to force the gauntlet enemies to take some delayed pathing to get the olive through safely. They'll be the ones holding the switchez, rather than your gruntz. The roidz is there to make the bricklaying go faster.
This was also the puzzle I was unsure of proper completion for, and the one part of the level I was open to tweaking, but I didn't get a chance to do it.

I will try it with replacing the gauntletz grunt with a bricklayer grunt then.
