All of the Grunt images in the Gruntz REZ file are Green ... so there must be some palette-switching code in the Gruntz game engine. Does anyone know (or can create) a program that will allow (me) globally changing the palette(s) of all files within a folder? Like with the Bricklayer image, I would like to have animated images of the MagicWand Grunt (administrators), the Sword and Club Gruntz (Global) Moderators and the various posting level Grunts.

Most of the Gruntz animations are ten frames (usually more, sometimes far more) so that fixing the colors frame-by-frame is far too time-consuming for a single person to do manually. I have all of the desired frames, already transparent backgrounds ... just the wrong color Grunt!

The grunt sprites I converted and applied the converted palettes to are ready to be animated, but I've yet to figure out the ANI animation files. I am finished with my game design course now though, so I'm going to attempt that soon. Each grunt sprite's palette is set in the same colour order, so it would be easy to change from the default green palette.

The palettes I found were for Toolz and Toyz ... and the colors were not in the same relative positions as the (default?) Green Gruntz. So this person is incapable of replacing the Green palette with an Orange.

I think I uploaded a set of palette conversion action set for Adobe Photoshop, which are an automated way to switch the palette. I could upload them again if not... Or I could upload pre-converted sprites in any colour you wanted. They are static 256-palette GIFS without transparency, ready to be converted into an animated GIF.

I am looking for south facing Magic Wand, Sword, Club and Gauntletz Gruntz, preferably in action, as the Bricklayer you see in Announcement threads for Designers .

PhotoScape is a good program to make GIFs.
