I got Gruntz working on Win 8.1 but there is another bug, very huge for designers (if it is not only me). Gruntz Editor works fine (why not) but there are missing the most important buttons - CalcID, CalcCow and CalcCowID. If someone encountered same problem I hope he/she have already found a solution... If it's only me what the hell is the problem?

This is something that only occurs when you open GLE for the first time. All you have to do is go to Games > Gruntz > CalcCowIDs and ensure the option is marked with ✓.

Thank you very much! I don't know but I think that I haven't done it first time on my old version... That was the reason. Sorry for making confusions...

Yeah that's just a first time setting change. The Editor works perfectly fine on Windows 8

I found that using my most recent (terribly outdated) Gruntz Extraz DVD, and manually installing it on this computer gave me everything I needed to make my first attempt at Gruntz. Since it is essentially a copy of my own computer Gruntz folder, all of the patchez were already applied, and the only reason for the Gruntz CD-ROM was for the check for validity. As on my previous computers, I expect that once Gruntz is started, the CD-ROM may be removed and the drive used for whatever other purpose the user has for it. But with all that is on the DVD, it took about an hour to get everything copied to the new folder on the internal hard drive.
