The Gruntz Elite Squad sets out on a mission to gather more Goo on an island near their base. They always keep some near and inside their own base to ensure survival.
This level is very short, even though it is 75 tilez wide, as a large part of that is simply your starting base and its outside area. I was planning to make this into a seriez of levelz, and have this short one as the opening to a grand quest keeping the same few Gruntz progressing through each level as the "squad". However, with the new project for the Standard Levelz V2, I'm turning my attentionz to that instead, and this will just go as a single quest... at least, for now. It is pretty straightforward, though the area with rolling ballz and spikez may require some good timing when it comes to getting your Grunt out of the spikez as soon as possible. And I'm expecting solverz to think on the warp letter - perhaps not so much on how to obtain it, but once they have, how it was even possible to do so in the first place!

I have received this one, and will begin my own play-test for verification prior to distribution. But anyone else may feel free to ask to BETA test it ... first come, first served.

I have made considerable progress on "Switch Out", and am now concentrating on verifying it, but have not done much on this Quest. So if there is anyone available to BETA test this Quest, please "have at it!", as I am occupied elsewhere.

I should probably switch this up to Medium difficulty, seeing as figuring out where to send which Grunt can be a pain, as mentioned by GooRoo himself when he first attempted to play the level.
powerfulmind is giving it a shot, I believe. As for Quest for the Wingz, BattlezM played through it but missed a few coinz, so it'd be great if someone else could try to play it for the Perfect screen.

I have even no PERFECT result because of the W letter it's too hard to get. I don't know should I say "thank you for the game" to the Designer, it was frustrating a bit. You want to place the Medium difficulty? Maybe even more.

Hmm..the W eluded me as well, there wasn't a magic angle to hit the springs with a boomerang.
Initially I broke a ton of puzzles by sending in the shovel grunt, but I realized that with the way the PSs and such around the fort were set up, completing the level wouldn't allow for it.

My idea for the W was that, since you become bare-handed upon throwing your Boomerang and then catching it returns the tool to you, perhaps if you already had a tool when you caught the Boomerang on its way back you'd receive it again over whatever you had. It didn't work out exactly as I planned, but it was close enough - if you think of what has to be done, it's not hard to get it to work.

If you want to do it, the Boomerang must be on the right from the Checkpoint Pyramidz. Only the thrower can get back his Tool after a throw... If so, we can't have a PERFECT! here...

Exactly, he can get back his Tool after a throw... and he doesn't need to be bare-handed for that, if he's still holding his Tool out in the air he might just give it up for his Boomerang... perhaps when he does, the checkpoint will already be lowered, give it a try.

Do you kill all gruntz in the start and need the goo ?? Can you give a walkthrough Thanks About these staying on the Switchez and the Smart Chaser Swordz ... Yes, you do. After making some Puddlez, get your Straw to work. Yes, you need them. About the Walkthrough, better leave it to the Designer. I've made BETA-testing of this one, but I'm too tired with this level.

If you look at the checkpoint switchez, you'll need to create two Gruntz to be able to fulfill them all since your Gunhatz are simply guardz and cannot leave their towerz. So you'll need to kill the 8 enemy Gruntz to get their goo. To figure out which Grunt goes where, try looking ahead a bit to see who is able to take on what - for example, since the Warpstone is right on top of a hole, you know your Shovel will have to stay in the base, and since a Glovez enemy in the top area can easily knock you back on crumbling bridgez, you have to take someone who can't be knocked back to that section.

Thanks but its to hard for me. I have kill the 8 enemy gruntz and made 2 gruntz. I did have take the shovel and all other things and move all my gruntz to kill the enemy gruntz. I can't go back the purple pyramide are up and can't see to get the 2 made gruntz out. I think i started wrong. Please tell what to do to get to the other side. "Glovez enemy in the top area can easily knock you back on crumbling bridgez, you have to take someone who can't be knocked back to that section"? Thanks

Thanks I think, this will give you everything: Here is the list of Gruntz who must stay on the Checkpointz: Shovel :On the very right, next to the fort. Also, one barehand stays in this zone. These on the very left now, by the water. From top to bottom: Gravity Bootz+Mobile Toy :He Can't be knocked back. Gauntletz+Jack-In-The-Box :He can kill the Club, you'll need your Toy to lure the enemy: -> Sword+Mobile Toy (Also kills the Club, he'll need the Toy later) The place for one barehand and Goober Straw is the two right platez (from the bottom three) and the last left bottom checkpoint will be for Spy Gear . He can get the Coin close to the pair of enemiez ahead. How? Try to guess.

Here is the list of Gruntz who must stay on the Checkpointz: Shovel :On the very right, next to the fort. Also, one barehand stays in this zone. You can't leave a barehand here for the checkpoint part, you won't have enough Gruntz. There are 7 Gruntz and 7 checkpointz, only one of these being in the base (for Shovel) These on the very left now, by the water. From top to bottom: Gravity Bootz+Mobile Toy :He Can't be knocked back. Gauntletz+Jack-In-The-Box :He can kill the Club, you'll need your Toy to lure the enemy: -> Sword+Mobile Toy (Also kills the Club, he'll need the Toy later) To be honest it really doesn't matter what toy Gauntletz and Swordz take. You're supposed to solve it with a mobile toy on Gauntletz but there's a workaround for that. ]The place for one barehand and Goober Straw is the two right platez (from the bottom three) and the last left bottom checkpoint will be for Spy Gear . He can get the Coin close to the pair of enemiez ahead. How? Try to guess. I have literally no idea how you solved the level without taking the Straw to the south area with the enemy Gruntz. Spy Gear is saved for later when you need it to reveal brickz, you can't take it here.

Spy Gear is saved for later when you need it to reveal brickz, you can't take it here. I've moved the Spy Gear through the RB (I had some time to attack the Gauntletz Defender twice and get the Coin ), then I've given the Springz to this Grunt and killed the enemiez. The two other Gruntz (barehand and Straw) could pass the cross now.
