The web host does seem to have some 'issues' ... but I was able to upload some files this morning, so have no idea just what those 'issues' are.

The problems must be severe at GoDaddy, since even their 'chat' support is unavailable. They evidently discourage any e-mail contact, since they do not provide such a "Contact Us" option. Telephone access is NOT toll-free, so I cannot (afford to!) pursue that avenue of recourse.

The next thing I can check is if there are reported 'issues' with other ProBoards Forums. I don't envision what their software could do to create the issues we see here, but it takes but a few minutes to "check it out".
Edit: Well, nothing reported in the ProBoards Support Forum, so I guess the problem is ours ... at GoDaddy.

It seems that every image in the main page is being displayed just fine, but profiles are not. You can see every board icon next to it and no missing images at all in the front page, yet member group images and avatars, and even gender icons, are missing... strangely enough, probably just a coincidence since there are no reported issues with ProBoards.

Perhaps what is happening is that GoDaddy has recently changed server locations, and the issue is one of security (somehow). I have not checked on my own access thoroughly, but I know that I cannot retrieve the files I just uploaded this morning, so doubt that even I can retrieve older files. I'm curious, what files are we talking about? Because surely most, if not all, of the forum's database must be available within the Gruntz DVDs you've been making (one of which I have myself)?

Downloads, Statz Page images, "View the map!" images, the various member images (as the Wand for Administrators) all are not working, giving the error message when you try to access them. Look at any Announcement post, and most of it looks fine, except the links and link images are broken, as well as the member status of the original poster.

Perhaps the 'spooks' were just hard at work yesterday, because it appears that everything is back to normal this morning. The Announcement I just posted shows the poster's status (Grunt image), the thumb nails are visible, and the links with those thumb nails bring up the full size image. The cause? I have not a single clue. The solution? Likewise, not a clue.
