GooRoo recently asked me about this level. It had been scrapped by me several years ago because I deemed its main puzzle a little unfair to the solver, likely frustrating to attempt to figure out. I played through it today and, with some small modifications, it should be fully playable. I also altered the referred puzzle to make it more clear.
The level is fairly straightforward, though you will quickly notice unusual use of TileSecretTriggers as four Bricklayer enemies "build" stairways at the starting section. It also has a large amount of Gruntz and Toolz for its small size.
There are some areas requiring good timing that are hard to adjust, such as running past ticking timebombs and, more notably, building bricks. I did not have much trouble but some saving and reloading will probably be needed on those parts.

I just made an attempt at this one, but the Windows 10 problems prevented me from getting very far.
I will upload what I was given to the web host, and then link the items into the Announcement post.
I think it is best to simply make new submissions available to everyone, until I am able to play Gruntz myself at a normal frame rate, with mouse action working as it did under Windows Vista on my previous computer. Thus, everyone will become BETA testers, and are expected to supply a "PERFECT!" Statz Page image. The first one I receive will be credited in the Announcement thread.

Due to problems with my internal CD/DVD drive, I was led to experiment to see if my external drive was also affected in some way. (Apparently it wasn't, so not a viral infection of some kind ... just a fatality of one component.)
Anyway, my experiment was to start up Gruntz, and attempt an easy (to solve) puzzle. Several strange things:
- Mouse was not recognized in the start-up menu ... had to use keyboard to make selections.
- The game had to be 'tickled' a few times to begin operating; result: normal game play!
- The first time, the display was in grey scale, no color. After the first CheckPoint reversion to Windows mode, the game continued in color ... realistic color, at that!
- The status column was reachable! Couldn't get there when I tried to play THIS Quest. Mouse operation worked in the game, unlike in the start-up menus. And smoooooth!
So one disaster has led to finding that I can now return to playing Gruntz under Windows 10!
Refer to the thread regarding playing Gruntz on 64-bit and/or Windows 10 systems, and follow the instructions ... and be patient! In other words, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

All right, so another problem with running Gruntz on 64-bit Windows 10. THIS puzzle does not have a flagged CheckPoint in it, and I cannot reach the status column in order to take an item from the GruntzMachine (Resources) to give it to one of my (many) Gruntz. I played as much of it as I could without any Toolz other than the Time Bombs I was able to pick up ... and since I blew up some Mushroomz that contained explosive devicez, and could not select the endangered Grunt to move him away from the nearest Bomb, that was the end of my testing. I am going to add a CheckPoint flag in hopes that that will de-bug the execution of the game as in my first test case, allowing me to access the rResources. Without said CP flag (and what I experienced as flaw corrections with each exit to Windows mode in my first successful test), mouse movement was NOT very smooth, so game play was not as one would find under Windows 7/Vista/XP/etc.
Remaining problems so far:
- Mouse scrolling in game play does not work ... must scroll with keyboard arrows.
- Keyboard shortcuts to activate Status column items do not work, and mouse cannot reach the column at all.
- Window generation is very small, displaying only about 6 rows and perhaps 20 characters in a row, as in selecting a Custom Level to play
- 'Options' are defaulted to music on (too loud, IMHO).
- Display (without CP windows exit) is a bit pixelated ... didn't notice that in my first test ... too thrilled by being able to get as much as I did, I guess.
Let's see how many of these items are corrected by the addition of a CheckPoint flag (to exit to windows), as I experienced in my first Gruntz play test. Perhaps it may be necessary to have additional means to force the game to exit to windows mode, with each exit and return clearing up a problem ... but not all of them at once.

Well, adding a CheckPoint Switch under a Megaphone, and changing the Mushroom EyeCandy(s) around it to CheckPoint Pyramidz with a CheckPoint flag nearby solved just about all of the problems. I could then access the Control Panel to assign numbers to my nine Gruntz, give the Gauntletz, GooberStraw and Bricklaying Toolz to Gruntz (probably not to the RIGHT Gruntz, though) and get more game play done. Mouse action is a bit sloppy, but scrolling right/left/down/up works ... even to the Control Panel (obviously). The solution obviously will only work if the solver has the Gruntz Level Editor and the skill to be able to make this sort of change to a map (without CheckPoint flags ... to add them in) ... but the GLE is available from this discussion Forum at a nice price ... free!
Gruntz is playable on Windows 10 64-bit computers!

Is there no one interested in play-testing this Quest? As I mentioned earlier, I am unable to do so due to the restrictions of play under Windows 10. (I am interested in seeing how you Gruntzerz do on this one ... might encourage me to resurrect my wife's old desktop computer ... just to play Gruntz!)

I'm pretty sure I managed to play through this level about a year ago actually. It was a level I had received for testing even before then I think.
I forwarded you an e-mail from that time. Iirc, I was unable to complete the level to a perfect, but you should check if the .wwd that you have on the forum matches the level I had.

No, I definitely made some small changes to this when I played it not too long ago. It's pretty much the same level but I think I had issues with red warp coordinates being mixed up.

I have accepted the BETA test Statz Page image (missing just one Coin) as sufficient to release this Quest. (About time! It was originally submitted in 2008!!!)

As anyone can see, this Quest has now been moved into the proper Board. Not so obvious is that the five major indices have been updated, adding in the link to this Quest. What took me so long to get the updating done, is the HTML editor I used obfuscated the tables! (Removed all of the carriage return/line feed characters, making the search for the correct place to add in the new entry very difficult!) The editor works great for creating a table, but the built-in handling of (my desired) formatting makes it unusable for maintenance. But NotePad works great for fixing what the editor broke ... just very time-consuming.
Now I can return to attempting to play this Quest myself, hopefully I will find myself nimble enough to cross the toggling bridge in spite of the wobbly mouse problem.

Can you tell what to do in the start and more. I cant see where to go what to do or give the tools to the right gruntz, ? Do you have to kill the 4 bricklayers in the start. Are there a walkthrough ? Thanks

You'll need Gauntletz to break the brickz and Bricklayer to lay a Bomb Brick to be destroyed by an enemy. That takes care of 3 out of 4 megaphonez, I believe. The fourth is the Straw which can be used to suck up the goo from the four Bricklayerz.
You'll then resurrect some Gruntz to join them, and move on to your other Gruntz: one is near several mushrooms and needs the Gauntletz to clear the area and free another ally. Don't forget the mushroom behind the Green Teleporter!
Your third set of Gruntz include a Timebomber who will clear the way without touching the checkpoint switch - it blocks off the crucial teleporter ahead, so do not let your Timebomber step on the switch.

What to do Thanks You have to blow up the Grunt between the green pyramidz, he's standing on the switch that keeps them raised. The black switch that releases the W letter is in the Secret Switch area, with a Sword on top of it. Also, one of the borders near it is breakable - that's how you reach it. You need to break it while you still have a Gauntletz in that area (I'm not sure if you actually need to send both of your Gauntletz forward, you can probably complete the level by sending a bare-handed instead of a Gauntletz). A hint to this is when you break the long row of mushrooms, a border tile explodes as if it was a mushroom. I think you only need the Goo that the enemy Swordz are protecting, you don't need to kill them by brute force - you can kill them by attracting them to an empty brick tile, and constructing a brick when they're stepping on it, squishing them. After they're all dead, go ahead and suck the Goo puddle they guarded. This is the hard way; the easier way is to simply kill a single enemy for his goo puddle and leave. Another puddle is on the central plateau, another from the Toyer, and another from the Club enemy, for a total of four. All purple switchez on this level are used by YOUR Gruntz, not enemiez!

Your Warpstone Grunt is the one to stand on the 14th purple switch, the one on the area below the fort. When you step on it, the pyramidz will lower, then you can tell your Grunt to move to the fort and he will pass through the pyramidz diagonally, even after they raise.

I thought so but the purple switch at the fort are to far from the fort so he can not get through the pyramidz So i can not get one gruntz from the 6 gruntz on the purple switch above the rolling balls to get one to the fort ?? I think i need 2 gruntz at the fort- 1 for the purple switch and other bring warpstone in the fort but can't make 15 gruntz ??
