This DLL is flagged as a virus by my firewall, and I have been unable to locate a copy of the file that I can trust. Unless it is embedded in an archive of dgVooDoo ... that I can protect against being 'treated' by my anti-virus/anti-spyware software. Any ideas on how to go about recovering it? My chat with the firewall provider does not explain how I can reinstall it from any source that can be modified. It seems that I need to have it on a CD-ROM (or DVD?) that is NOT rewritable.

I don't understand why this problem even exists, because my copy of Gruntz doesn't have this file and it runs fine...
Anyway, if you are absolutely positive that your game can't run without it, then I think what you should do is add this file to the exceptions of your antivirus, and then maybe fish it out from wherever it is that the antivirus put it.

I managed to acquire the file, and told the firewall to keep its hands off it. But there are other problems that I need to work on. The 'virus' file is part of the dgVooDoo system... which you probably do not use.
