This Forum has been in existence long enough now that a feature (I call it a bug) of ProBoards is showing up now. When threads are at least 20 days old, without new replies added to them, they begin showing up as 'new' again. This is because the ProBoards database cannot keep track of the millions upon millions of threads that far back.
I don't know this for a fact, but I believe that all of the messages for all of the ProBoards Forums that have ever existed are stored in one (logical) place. Look at your browser's "Address" line, and you will see a long number at the end of the line. That number is assigned sequentially, each time a post is made. Now look at the total number of posts made in this Forum. BIG difference! I visit dozens of Forums daily, and the numbers for recent posts are very similar, different only in the last three or four digits, usually.
I don't know if ProBoards Version 4 will solve this problem. In fact, I very much doubt it will. So be prepared to see 'New' next to threads that you read when you first joined, and began viewing what the Forum has to offer.

I have determined that the nine digit number is, in fact, a timestamp. Sometimes there may be simultaneous posts that result in identical numbers being assigned. If that happens to a single thread, strange things happen. After something like 30 days, old threads become new again.
