366 users on-line at once here? Why the sudden visits?

And there were 945 guests in the last 24 hours. Is this Forum suddenly under attack? Multiple hacking attempts, or such?

The largest legitimate number of users on-line was 78, when there were several very active Gruntzerz either playing or designing new puzzlez.

I can think of nothing to generate legitimate interest in this discussion forum to this extent. Staff will have to be vigilant when on-line to try to determine what all the activity is about.

This is strange, because there are no newly registered accounts from that period. As if all of them got quickly deleted after that.

I went to the Proboards Support Forum, and there was one thread by another user admin about it. With a much larger count than ours. There are probably many more that would have the same response as mine, but that would require (under Support rules) the creation or several more threads. I imagine that Proboards Staff will likely make their own response thread about it.
